I've been developing Project Sparrow as a solo developer over the past 3 years. There's a lot of playtesting and iteration needed, especially with a multiplayer game. With the help of the community I feel that I can gather more feedback and look to enhance gameplay and improve iteration speeds,

I feel that a lot of games miss out on the opportunity to give their game a proper arena mode to enhance competitive play in a controlled environment. My aim with Project Sparrow is to have this be the first stepping stone before exploring new mechanics and game modes.”

“Roughly between one and two years, with regular updates along the way.”

“The full release will include:
- New arrow types
- New utility options
- More maps
- More Gamemodes”

“The early access release will include:
- Multiple game modes including: 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 and Deathmatch
- Bow and Arrow combat
- Training range
- Infinity Trials

“The goal is to move the game to a free to play model after leaving early access, with a battle pass and more cosmetics. There will be no pay to win mechanics implemented.”

Hvordan har I tænkt jer at involvere fællesskabet i jeres udviklingsproces?

“Iteration and feedback is the most important part of Project Sparrow, we already have a small social media presence through Discord and Twitter. We can't wait for more people to join and share their ideas and opinions. Some of which have already been implemented and have turned out to be great additions to the game.

As a competitive arena-based PvP game, we want to drive competition as much as possible and hope to get regular tournaments up and running with the community.”
