Why Early Access?

“We are releasing Manikineko Online in Early Access to gather valuable player feedback while we continue development.
Our main goals are to refine gameplay, balance classes and combat, improve performance in the multiplayer environment, and build a strong community around the Dreamscape universe. We are fully committed to this project long-term
we will actively monitor feedback through Steam discussions and our community channels, iterate on the game regularly, and see it through to a complete full release.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We estimate the game will remain in Early Access for roughly 18-36 months,
This is an approximate timeframe based on our current development pace and will depend on player feedback and testing results.
We will provide regular updates on our progress.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version is in an early but playable state. Players can create characters with custom anime-styled models, explore the initial areas of the Dreamscape, engage in WoW-style combat against available monsters, craft basic items, and participate in multiplayer co-op and PvP. Core systems like networking (Unity Mirror + UMMORPG), class abilities, and basic progression are implemented. For a full list of current features, please refer to the "About This Game" section on this page. We will continue adding content and improvements based on community input.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand the game significantly with additional content such as a full story mode, more maps and environments, a wider variety of enemies and legendary monsters, additional character classes, and enhanced modding/workshop support for community-created areas. We also intend to polish visuals, optimize performance, and add quality-of-life features based on player feedback. These are our current development goals and may evolve as we listen to the community.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Nothing will change except the fact we will have the features promessed
Base game stays free and we will allow trading using steam's inventory feature as well as selling in the community market of certain items, we will however implement a shop to buy new items for those not willing to use the market”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We heavely depend on your feedback we need the community to agree we are open to changes and ideas from you all

Intro to The Lore

In a future where technology and magic intertwine, a portal to the afterlife was opened, heralding the arrival of the Phoenix God. This deity, embodying compassion and love, took on her final form - a fiery phoenix. After decades of peace, she decided to bestow her divine powers upon a chosen few - the players, who are the descendants of this majestic god.

Your Journey Begins

Spawned into this fantasy realm, you'll explore an endless universe where every fictional character you've ever known exists. Here, you'll:

- Awaken Your Powers: As a descendant of the Phoenix God, harness your unique abilities to shape the world these are known as skills.

- Meet Sky: The enigmatic ruler of this realm, Sky, controls the Dreamscape, a mystical bridge connecting fantastical beings to the real world. Once used by angels and the spirits of the deceased, now it serves as a conduit for a new era of interaction between realms.

- Interact with Legends: Encounter and ally with characters from every conceivable fictional narrative - from ancient myths to modern manga.
