Get ready to build the most unique junctions on the planet. Place roads, rails, bridges, and tunnels, and customize the way they intersect. Build an interchange the world has never seen before, or import real-world data and recreate one you already know.

Do you live in a city with terrible gridlocks? Is there a specific intersection that you just know you'd do a better job designing? Soon you will be able to! Become a traffic engineer with Junxions.

Challenge yourself or enjoy the sandbox

Progress through the challenge mode and design increasingly complex intersections based on locations from around the world or hand-crafted by our team, all the while keeping the budget under control, the throughput high, and the nearby buildings still standing. Or you can enjoy the sandbox mode where there'll be no limits to your imagination.

Place roads

Use the path tool to place and edit roads, railways, tram lanes, bike lanes, and walkways. Design any kind of road you'd like through the cross-section tool, even roads that make no sense, like a railway with a walkway in the middle. Who doesn't like a little adrenaline when going for a walk?

Create intersections

In a place where roads meet, let the algorithm do the work for you or design the intersection by yourself. You have a large number of tools at your disposal:

• place individual lanes, walkways, railways, and surfaces like pavements or lawns
  
• create roundabouts, restrict directions, specify turning lanes
  
• place crosswalks, bike, tram, and rail crossings
  
• place traffic lights, set up their phases
  
• designate rights of way
  
• create islands for pedestrians
  
• paint horizontal lines
  
• finish with street lamps, trees, railings, noise-cancelling barriers, etc.

Modify the map

Use the landscaping tool to modify the terrain or build around it. Place rivers, lakes, and seas.

Import from the real world

Not feeling creative? Try the map import tool to generate a map from the real world just by entering coordinates! Includes minimalistic buildings, road lines, and satellite overlays.

Advanced simulation

When you're done, just launch the simulation. Cars, trucks, buses, trams, trains, pedestrians, and cyclists will enter the map based on the map spawn settings. Advanced multithreaded AI will comply with all rules of the road you'd expect. View stats based on the simulation result like throughput, average speed, emissions, etc.

Should you at any moment feel overwhelmed, there will be a large number of detailed tutorials at your service. They will teach you everything from the basics to the most advanced tool in the game.

What this game is not

This is not a fully-fledged city builder. Do not expect economics, zoning, population, services, or anything like that. Junxions is a simple little game about making cool intersections and simulating traffic. A sequel, however...
