Varför Early Access?

“Our Early Access campaign for Liftoff: FPV Drone Racing has been highly effective, more than a 100 updates based on community feedback and suggestions have shaped the project to be exactly what the community wants. We want to continue that successful approach with this new Liftoff game.”

“We aim to exit Early Access by the end of 2024. We'll determine the exact timing based on community feedback and support, and we're open to adjusting our plans if necessary to better meet the needs of our users.”

“Our focus will mostly be towards content, we want to slowly increase the available environments and drones in the game. We also plan to include a track editor in the full release.

In the first Early Access release. The game will only feature a handful of environments and frames to pick from. We do not recommend it to those who are looking for a full experience.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“Fans who want to support the project and want to get an early look, will find a fully playable game, that still lacks some content and features. We consider the current version a solid base to build upon, but it's not considered a full game experience. We do not recommend it to those who are looking for a full experience.

The Early Access version had launch with 3 environments (in a day and night variation), 6 frames, freeflight and race modes, multiplayer and a fully functional Workbench. Features such as a track builder, and Steam workshop integration will be added on a later date.

At the time of writing the amount of content has grown to 20 drones and 7 levels, available with night variations.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“The price may increase moderately when we release, depending on the value that has been added during the Early Access program.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“The LuGus Studios team continues to be active and engages with all Liftoff fans.

The development team is part of the community and will be active on the Steam forums and on the Liftoff community groups on Facebook and Discord. We will personally participate in the online conversations about Liftoff: Micro Drones.”
