What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Early Access would be the best way to get players into the game and finding out what sort of items are strong or weak before release. Due to all the potential builds throughout a run, I'd love to get help and insight from players. I'd also like to get other feedback of user friendly features to add to make the game as easy to understand as possible”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Until Q1 2021, February/March approximately”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full game is planned to have 4 playable characters and 3 playable areas. The Forest, Halls and Attic each with their own random story events.
I intend to implement saving between each floor to allow for breaks.
I'd also like to put achievements into the full release and have the characters be unlockable.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current state of the game has 2 playable characters and 2 of the 3 areas in a finished but perhaps unbalanced state. There is no saving between floors.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The Price will increase as new features are added and the game is closer to completion. The biggest jump in price will be when the third Attic area is added. Then a final increase before 1.0 launch.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I have a discord server set up to discuss the game, with a link to that inside of the game itself. IF the player doesn't want to join Discord, there is a bug report system in the game for reporting Bugs/Suggestions/Compliments. Outside of being active on my discord and monitoring the bug reports, I'll be checking the Community Hub if players post their thoughts there.
I want to receive feedback about the different items and their combinations in the game. From there I can find out if things should be more or less useful. Also what the popularity of characters are like and if they need to be changed to make sure they're roughly equally powerful.
How the areas and enemies feel to players and if they need to be changed along with the random events. Are the rewards worth taking the risks to get them.
And finally if there are things that can be tightened up or be more obviously displayed throughout the game.”

About This Game

Become the newest recruit in the Fuzz Force's Spook Squad division and undertake a mission to capture the Polter Prince! Use Dice instead of cards in battles for a fresh take on the deckbuilding roguelite genre.

  • Four unique characters offer their own strengths in battles through Passive Stats to offset the bad luck of low rolls and an Animal Power which enhances their role even further.
  • Upgrade your Dice-powered weaponry by finding stronger Dice, obtaining Battlechips which augment those Dice with bonuses and status effects and Modules which grant unique abilities. Each component offers a new synergy and a customised playstyle.
  • Navigate the tabletop world of the Forest, the Halls and the Attic on your mission. Each area has unique enemies and random events with a layout that changes every time you play. Will you leave the area as soon as you find the exit or explore each area to power up your equipment at the risk of being defeated?
