Varför Early Access?

“We are releasing Battle Shapers in Early Access because we want to ensure that our game is developed alongside our players and into the best experience it can be. We believe in building a passionate community of players that will grow as the game evolves, and intend to give them a voice in the development process.

Early Access allows us to remain independent, retain our goals for the development of the game, and release when the game is complete and ready. Furthermore, it also gives us the added benefit of sharing the development of the game and giving our players a look into our process.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“We intend for Battle Shapers to remain in Early Access for around 9 months or more depending on how the game is received. This timeline gives us a good runway to expand on the game’s core gameplay experience and add plenty of new content while reacting in an effective and timely manner to feedback received from our community.”

Hur är det tänkt att den fullständiga versionen ska skilja sig från versionen i Early Access?

“With regular patches and updates, we will continue refining Battle Shapers’ core combat mechanics and progression systems, all the while expanding the game’s content variety with brand new biomes, weapons, upgrades, and foes to fight. One of our principal goals within Early Access is to unveil the final boss of the game, located within its own brand new level, and thus allowing players to finally beat the game and unlock additional post-game challenges and levels. We will be sharing more details about these additions, as well as any other features as the development progresses.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“Almost all key features of the game have been implemented and gone through multiple iterations. In terms of combat, the game offers well over 50 unlockables (e.g. weapons, abilities, talents and suit upgrades) with scores of randomized affixes, as well as damage types, status effects and buffs to fuel dynamic gameplay. There are currently 3 boss cores to collect from the game’s Overlords, each one offering a unique playstyle and numerous perks to acquire.

Players can already face-off against more than 12 types of enemies and battle 3 of the 4 planned bosses inside 3 of our 5 unique biomes. The game’s final boss, as well as our fourth and fifth biomes, are currently being developed and will be introduced in further updates. In terms of narrative, the game offers many story and lore interactions, with hundreds of possible dialogues with bosses and a few friendly characters, which will progress and evolve once the final boss is released.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“We have not yet settled on a definitive price for Battle Shapers. During Early Access, our intentions are to make it available at a reasonable, discounted price as a gesture towards our early supporters. At full release, we plan on increasing the price to one we think will be fair and representative of the final quality and content offering that was added to the game throughout Early Access.

We will have no product placement and no microtransactions within the game as everything can be earned through gameplay. We may add small nods to our stalwart community members or development partners that help promote the game.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“Our development team will work closely with the community by actively listening to and considering feedback and suggestions to help Battle Shapers live up to its full potential. To that end, we will be providing a number of ways for players to share their feedback. Be sure to monitor these for special events and updates!”
