Why Early Access?

“As this is my first game I want to make sure you are involved from the start. The earlier things break the easier it is to fix them early on. You can see my plans, progress, successes and failures. I want to develop this game by involving you as soon as possible and listen to your feedback and make a truly amazing game thanks to you!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I can't accurately predict how long Early Access will take. I expect at least one to two years, and potentially more as I'm an solo devloper.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The game will be launched as Early Access as soon as all the core mechanics are finished.
Then throughout Early Access, I will release a sequence of updates that add new content and story to the game. Initially, you will only be able to play in a restricted starting zone and its surrounding area. Future updates will then add new story areas and hopefully bugs will steadily be patched out and performance will steadily increase.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is currently in closed alpha testing to test the core mechanics of the game.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price of Sou’wester Winds will most likely increase steadily as the story chapters are added.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?
