What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We believe that to create an excellent and new party-game experience, we have to get feedback as soon as possible from the community and fans of the genre. Our journey so far has been fueled by community insights, with a series of closed Alpha and Beta playtests within our Discord community. As the game evolves, we're eager to expand our horizons and invite a wider audience to contribute through Steam Early Access.

This phase isn't just about refining gameplay; it's a critical step in preparing Republic of Jungle for a grand debut on multiple platforms, including consoles and Smart TVs. While we're hard at work porting the game for these platforms, Early Access offers a unique opportunity for players to shape the game, helping us identify and rectify bugs and enhance overall quality ahead of its multi-platform launch.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“A few months, targeting a transition to version 1.0 within 2024. This timeline is designed to ensure we fully incorporate community feedback and achieve the highest standards of gameplay and content.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The leap from Early Access to the full version is all about evolution based on player input. Our commitment is to thoroughly polish Republic of Jungle, enhancing every aspect of the experience. We also plan to introduce new gameplay features, which will be progressively revealed through our Steam announcements. Gameplay mechanics and features that are not present in the Early Access and will be added in the near future include new player roles, new powers, new voting mechanics, and game quick-restart.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Our Early Access version stands as a near-complete game, offering an engaging experience for 5 to 10 players with just a single copy. The game's customizable configurations provide a wealth of replayability, promising new and exciting dynamics with each play. And there’s more on the horizon – we’re gearing up to expand the game’s roles and powers, adding even more depth and variety to your gameplay experiences. In the Early Access version, you can find all the features and mechanics introduced in the “About This Game” section of the store page.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, the game will be priced the same after Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Republic of Jungle is a multiplayer party game, and it’s all about its vibrant community. Early Access for us is synonymous with community collaboration. To get feedback from the community and incorporate that directly into the game development. We plan to engage with our community on Steam and Discord. We believe that the best party games are built not just for the community, but with the community.”
