“The early access release of Starboard will be complete from a design perspective. The full release will be more stable & include more content to enhance the core experience. The primary focus of the early access release is to find and address bugs & quality of life issues. Throughout development, more islands, mobs, items, base parts, and ship types will be added. Ship and player character customization options will grow throughout early access as well.”

However there are occasionally game breaking bugs, and they pop up too often to consider full release just yet. Dedicated server support is also not finished.”
