Why Early Access?

“Hello! I am a solo dev and this game is made with enemies and levels created by more than a dozen indie artists from the itch.io community and I am trying to add as many artists from this community as possible. My goal is to add a couple dozen more artists! This means new levels, new enemies, and possibly new attacks!

Supporting Early Access is supporting the development of this game.

“Some of the feature to come:
Special Attack
Steam Achievements
Dozens of new enemies.
Tracking of all player kills
3-5 more levels that will follow the same structure.
GUI that fits the game style better


Endurance Mode - A mode that will add a modifier to your run and change every level, such as, punch only, sword only, no jumping, no double jumping, time limits, and more.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Survival Mode and Arcade Mode are both active.

Arcade Mode is a great introduction and place to start. It allow you to continue when you lose your lives and you start the game with all attacks unlocked.

Survival Mode is much harder. It does not allow the player to continue on death and the only attack you start with is punch.

The game is currently set up to be played endlessly.

There are 2 levels at of right now. Level 1 has 15 waves and Level 2 has 20 waves. There is also a Relex Round after each level.

Every wave is generated by the game at the start and will sometimes be easy, sometimes crazy hard! Every run will be different.

Both levels have a boss at the end. Each wave has increasingly difficult enemies. When you are done with level 2, it will transition you back to level 1. You can continue playing until you die and the total waves you were able to survive will be added to your final score.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The early access version will be 25% cheaper than the release version.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We have already been working with many testers and will continue to work with anyone who wants to be apart of the early development.

About This Game

This game is a mash-up of pixel art made by at least 14 different artists. As the development of the game continues we hope to feature art from a few dozen different artists. I feel this is a good way to showcase a lot of different artists and support the indie community.

In this melee fighter, the game generates different waves every time and each run will be different from the last. You will be trying to survive waves of increasingly difficult enemies while leveling up your skills and making your character stronger.

In Arcade Mode you will start with every skill unlocked. Punch, Kick, Sword, and Double Jump. You will also be able to continue when you die. This is a good way to learn how each enemy attacks since every enemy will attack differently.

In Survival Mode you will start with only the ability to punch and block. When you defeat an enemy you will gain XP. When you level up your HP will be replenished and you will receive 2 skill points that you can spend to unlock new attacks and increase attack damage.

Every other time you level up your max HP will be increased. This will allow you to play a little more aggressively if you choose.

Things you can unlock:

Punch Combo - Instead of only punching once, you can time your punch and punch again after ( or button mash ).
Kick - Allows you to kick and execute a kick from a punch or sword attack if pressed at the correct time.
Sword - The sword is a slower attack that does more damage, you can execute a punch or kick from the sword attack if the timing is right.
Double Jump - Allows you to double jump.
Gravity - Decrease gravity, allowing you to jump higher and get on those pesky platforms.
Critical Chance - Increase your ability to land a critical hit in combat.
Critical Damage - Increases your critical hit damage.
