Hvorfor tidlig tilgang?

«We've been developing Virtuverse since late 2018 and have had multiple successful early-access playtests. From the outset, we wanted to be transparent and open with our community about our roadmap and direction of the game. Developing Virtuverse closely with our community is the way we want to bring our vision to life.»

Hvor lenge antas det at dette spillet vil være i tidlig tilgang?

«Virtuverse will be in Early-Access until we decide to turn on monetization. Currently, we're aiming for 2023 for a release into Beta - though subject to change. While in Early Access the game will be entirely free to play and test.»

Hvordan er det planlagt at fullversjonen skal være forskjellig fra versjonen i tidlig tilgang?

«When Virtuverse enters Beta, we will be enabling the full RCE. Enabling purchases of Aurum for real-world currency, and withdrawals back.»

Hva er nåværende tilstand for versjonen i tidlig tilgang?

«Virtuverse currently is nearly mechanically complete. We have already added: Hunting, Mining, Crafting, Player owned plots of lands and businesses. Our procedural dungeon generation and boss fights are in the game. And a decent start on building on the lore behind Virtuverse. Previous public tests have had people loving and streaming the game for over 70 hours in a week - so we're definitely on the right track!

The one thing that Virtuverse currently lacks, and what we're constantly working towards now, is more content and depth. Over time we'll be adding more overworld locations, in addition to the large map we currently have. And lots more instanced content and dungeons too!»

Vil spillet være priset annerledes under og etter tidlig tilgang?

«The game will be completely free prior to Beta release. Upon which currency will then be purchasable with real-world money. But even after then the game will entirely be playable for free.»

«We have a very active presence on our discord server, constantly interacting with the community and getting suggestions and feedback.»

Virtuverse Coming to Unreal Engine 5

In June of 2021, a few months into the development of Alpha 6, we started playing around in Unreal 5. At this point, porting, let alone a complete rewrite, was just a faint dream in our minds. Today we’re excited to announce that this will become a reality — Virtuverse Alpha 7 will be using the latest Unreal Engine 5.

Virtuverse is a Sci-Fi RCE MMORPG. It integrates an intuitive economy system with action-based third-person gameplay. Unlike many other MMOs, Virtuverse does not have any class restrictions, so you can use any weapon or armour you wish. An immersive story will lead players to discover new lands and planets, and those who wish to seek their own adventures will be able to explore Virtuverse on their own or with friends.

In Virtuverse's economy, everything after the starting equipment is created or looted by players. An organic market with ever-shifting supply and demand will keep every player on their toes, and create opportunity for profit.

Explore:


Explore Temrance Island, the mainland of Planet Stig and beyond! Virtuverse offers a huge variety of biomes to explore and colonise though it's evolving storyline.
Venture into the wilds to make a name for yourself as you explore ancient and alien ruins.

Hunt:


Virtuverse hosts a huge variety of creatures and other threats to your survival - use a wide assortment of weapons and tools to decimate them and take the spoils.

Craft:


With over 13 different crafting professions, each with their own progression tree, find a niche for yourself as a crafter within Planet Stig.

Build:


Virtuverse offers both instanced, and in-world, housing and plots to build on. Either make a home to relax and store your hard-gained resources, or run a business and capitalize on the needs of other players.
