“I plan to gather feedback on aspects of the game, such as gameplay, pacing, and potential issues or bugs, and plan to utilize the additional time before full release to focus on non-functional but time-consuming features like cut scenes, voice acting, dialogue, and polish. ”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Ideally around 8 months”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan to include additional content like extra game modes, potentially an extra campaign, expanded features like improved AI, adjustments that emerge from play-testing, additional cut scenes and voice acting.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core gameplay and campaign is complete and all main systems are functional (combat, inventory, sanity effects, menus, etc). The game is fully playable from start to finish but may have balance issues, bugs, and may need some additional polish and optimization.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Price will not change when we leave early access”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I plan to use Steam primarily for feedback, posting updates when applicable, and patch notes. I plan to encourage players to suggest improvements, report bugs, and plan to review and integrate where possible”

About This Game

Attempt to survive as a mysterious event strips away the bounds of reality itself in Cult of Dawn, a third person, "RE4-Like" horror adventure inspired by the classic survival horror titles of the 90s and early 2000s. Featuring tank controls, sanity effects, fixed and over the shoulder camera angles, old school inventory management and more.

* Fight off mysterious entities while exploring a variety of locations, from an abandoned mansion to ancient catacombs, desolate woods, an old apartment complex, dark, urban alleyways and more

* Classic survival horror controls with a modern twist: fixed and third person controls when moving, over the shoulder when aiming

* Inventory management and limited save station locations: combine and craft items and make decisions on what to leave behind, purchase and sell items from the undead shopkeep

* Over 200 unique, fourth wall-breaking sanity effects

* Running is sometimes the best option to conserve ammo and supplies
