Miksi Early Access?

We've created a solid foundation and added some unique systems to a genre we truly enjoy. While we finish the remaining characters and acts, we'd love to hear from the community and gather feedback that can help us polish this title to deliver the best possible experience.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

We're looking at approximately 9-12 months of Early Access. However, if interesting new features are requested during Early Access, we may extend the time to add those new systems. We want to make sure we offer a truly memorable and enjoyable experience, even if that means adding unforeseen systems that are not currently on our list / schedule.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

The full version will include all of the planned acts and multiple characters to complete the game. Each new character adds a fresh experience, because every character has varying ways to overcome the same obstacles. For example, the Knight may need a flaming sword to burn away a shield, while the Sorceress could simply dispel it, and the Archer may have piercing attacks that can go right through it.

We'd also like to build upon the combo system even further, and we're considering things like specific cards being played back-to-back to unleash new moves. The current combo system is inspired by fighting games, so it would be appropriate to have 'formulas' like fighting games that unleash specific effects rather than make everything in the form of a card. Still, this may be something class-specific. We're toying with ideas at this stage, but it's something we'd love to do!

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The Early Access version has all of the features in the "Features" list of the 'About This' section. The 'About This' section will be appropriately updated as new content is added.

The game will be slightly more expensive after Early Access. We're offering Early Access at a reduced price until the game has the full content it intends to offer.

During the development process, we'll be active in the Steam Discussions page. We believe it's important to allow the community to communicate with us without leaving the distribution outlet. However, we'll also include some polls either through social media or a Discord server in order to gather more concrete feedback.

Ultimately, we're very focused on providing ways for the community to get their feedback directly to us so that we can consider all of the ideas and suggestions that the fans have to offer. This is what will shape the game into its final form!

Synopsis

You materialize in a mysterious realm where a titan who goes simply by the name 'Mr. T' welcomes you. "You have returned to the afterlife, I see." Without much explanation, your adventure in this dark and gritty dungeon begins.

Use powerful Perks like "Lighting Rod" and "Chain Lightning" to your advantage! Perks are divided into three Categories: Body, Mind, and Essence. You can even find hidden perks through certain Events!

The Encounter system is where you'll be able to find perks and other benefits. These encounters occur between enemy waves, providing a brief respite.

After each stage you'll be able to choose from a list of Destinations. The Shop is always available, while the others (Camp, Events, Treasure) can vary.

Use Limits with devastating effects to destroy the opposition!

Early Access

During Early Access, your feedback is valuable! The game is still being shaped into its final form, and there's room to add even more systems to the mix. For now, Act 1 and Act 2 are complete and the game includes all of the systems from the original vision -- systems from some of our favorite games, like combos and limits. Now, it's time to add even more substance to a solid foundation, and we hope you will join us during this great adventure!
