Ulasan

“The Light at the End of the Ocean is a story of friendship, identity, and destiny couched in a delicate blend of modern, traditional, and classical sensibilities. Despite taking place in one location, it reaches across time and space to tell a story both nuanced and universal about the heartbreaks that bring us to the most difficult of choices, all the paths we might have taken in between, and finding a way to open ourselves to second chances.”
VN Game Den

“The Light at the End of the Ocean is a short game that packs a LOT into its short run time and with its strong writing and captivating characters, this is sure to be a story that stays with you long after your finish it.”

Tentang Permainan Ini

A young woman wakes up in a lighthouse with a head injury and no memory of the shipwreck that brought her there—or anything else, for that matter. A stone-faced, stoic Lighthouse Keeper assures her that help will arrive soon, but seems unwilling or unable to help her figure out whom or where she is. Help the Lighthouse Keeper’s Guest uncover the mysteries of the island and its inhabitants in this point-and-click visual novel about unlikely friendship and loss of identity.

One playthrough of The Light at the End of the Ocean will take approximately an hour and fifteen minutes. Including all endings and bonus content, the full length is about two hours total.

Penerangan Kandungan Dewasa

Pembangun menerangkan kandungan ini seperti berikut:

The Light at the End of the Ocean contains discussions about depression and suicide (but nothing too graphic or explicit), implied homophobia, brief scenes taking place in a hospital, and generally a lot of sadness but with an ultimately positive true ending.
