«The Community is the most important part of the game life cycle, As a Solo Indie Developer, getting feedback and insight will be the biggest asset to me. Early access allows me to enable the community to drive the direction of things, ensuring that I use my time to max performance. Dreadful Shadows is my biggest title to date, and I want your help to make it more then I am capable of.»

«At BrainRoot we want Dreadful Shadows to be best possible experience we can achieve putting an exact timeline is challenging. With the current timeline we guess to be approximately the first half of 2021, Understand that these plans may change, and by growing the company I hope to increase the gameplay, entertainment and ease on the Timeline!»

«There are many great Features that have been dropped on the cutting room floor, with the help off the gaming community we can restore and add to what is liked, and axe out what isnt. Feedback would be great!! For the future of the title I would like to add or finish.

- At least 3 more levels that I cut for time Castle/ Island City/ Manor House

«Dreadful Shadows in an Indie Title with 1 Developer working around the clock, the following features are available, yet consider everything a work in progress.

- 2 huge maps to explore: The Farm and the Church ground.
-4 Magic types (Human Only)
- 5 Creature types all with their own unique abilities and grabs: Vampyre, Werewolves, Wytches, Mannequins, and the Overpowered Wendigo ( Wendigo spawns in when the match has reached a certain time threshold)
- 6 Guns for your right hand, 8 weapons for the left hand.(Human Only)
- Finishing Moves for Creatures.
- A stamina meter that if depleted while running makes your trip and rag doll
- Many other Traps, throw-ables, and physics to have fun with.»

Dreadful Shadows is a 3rd person team Survival Horror Brawler. Teams (8 Hunters vs 2 Creatures) Must battle against the clock to Either Save or Destroy the given village respectively . Set in an alternative timeline of our Victorian Era, hunters will have magic, guns, traps, stakes, weapons and all sorts of gimmicks to "Hunt" the Creatures of the dark, all while trying to stay alive, keep allies alive and read spells of protection for the village. After 5 spells have been read on the map the player must escape before the blood moon cleanses the map.
Alternately if you find yourself as a creature of darkness, you'll get to attack the Hunters with a variety of custom attacks, spells, grabs, stealth take downs and death animations. As a creature you'll have a set time to attack the hunter players the best you can until the blood moon is activated, in which one of the creatures will be spawned into the dreaded Skin walker/ Wendigo/ Shape shifter... It has many names, and will leave you broken in a fight. Capable of throwing bones, breaking you in two, charging you with its horns, or knocking you 20+ feet with one blow in Combat. No hunter is a Real match for this Abomination.
