Wozu Early Access?

„TLDR: We're looking to finish the story campaign, add a few other game modes, and polish a few bits and pieces before releasing.

We believe there's still plenty to improve on, whether it be in terms of the quality of the current features or in terms of new features that can be added. However, since the core of the game has already been implemented, and the current version is very playable and enjoyable, we feel that it is time to open up to the playerbase so that they can contribute directly to its development and help shape future iterations of the game.

We have decided to release earlier into EA instead of waiting for development to fully complete so that we can garner feedback/criticism from the playerbase while development is still in progress. This allows us to build the game that YOU want to play. We would truly love to hear honest criticism and feedback so that we can incorporate it all into our full/final version. We thank you all in advance for the help and advice that we hope will come from the community.

EA will allow the community to shape the release of future updates and features, which include but are not limited to, bringing in more story content to the campaign, creating more ships/modules with which to play around, adding new game modes and adjusting game mechanics to reach a sweet spot that pleases the playerbase.“

„The full version will see some new game modes, many new in-game items, as well as perhaps some reworks on existing mechanics and content.

The game currently has two modes, one being the story-driven campaign (with only a few episodes released so far) and the other being the endless mode. In future updates, we plan to add more chapters to the campaign, as well as add new game modes such as "capture the flag" and racing.

We also plan to add new weapons, utilities and ship parts to increase variety and customization options across the board.

Furthermore, the current space combat/flight mechanics are not set in stone and may be changed/adjusted following feedback that we hope to gather during the EA phase. We want to build the game that our players want to play.

Before releasing the full version, we will also be doing a full pass on the game to fix any remaining bugs and polish any rough edges so that on release the product is one of high quality.“

Was ist der derzeitige Stand der Early Access-Version?

„All of the features in the "About This Game" section below are fully implemented. We do not guarantee that the player will not run into any bugs at all, as we haven't reached that level of polish yet. But we are confident that the current version is very playable and entertaining.

The current version is a full-fledged version of the game that will provide many hours of entertainment through its in-depth customisation, polished fast-paced combat mechanics, endless survival mode and partially implemented story-driven campaign.

As the idea of having modular ships built from parts is core to the game, the current version gives access to around 40 different ship parts, as well as around 10 different weapons to equip on your ship. There are also around 10 more utility items included to aid you in combat.

The current version may however feel a little rough around the edges as the UI along with the feel and look of the game is not fully polished to where we want it all to be.“

You can expect us to be very responsive to any queries/feedback that is sent our way, and we will work together to incorporate every suggestion into our decision process.“

Art of Space gives you the chance to build a spaceship and tweak it to your very own tastes, both visually and stats-wise. This game is for people who love to try all sorts of different combinations to figure out that ONE sweet-spot build that feels just right.

If you're more of a "mad skillz!!" person, you will love the combat in Art of Space as fast-paced is what we do, and perfect timing is what we love. Your spaceship is a modular machine that can be destroyed and rebuilt bit by bit, all in the heat of battle.

Meanwhile, our single-player story-driven campaign aims to provide a narrative around the world of Art of Space, while providing many hours of entertainment to the player.
