User comments, bug reports, and encouragement have been incredibly useful and have been shaping our product's development.

"We estimate that Alien Dawn would be ready to be taken out of Early Access within 6 months of its initial release."

"Our primary game mode is an open world procedurally generated mission, so it’s different every time you play. As we move through Early Access and into official launch we will be adding all new types of content, items, and enemies to make the experience even more unique for every playthrough.

Additionally, we have many ideas for possible new game modes such as helicopter and vehicle specific missions and alternative versions of the Escape game mode. Currently our game is designed to be very Co-op specific but we have also envisioned a PVP version where multiple squads are all trying to Escape at the same time.

We also love the idea of allowing servers to run a persistent open world mode with a base building mechanic, but that would likely come post release of the full game if we added this feature.

Finally, we want to add more ways to customize and play the game. As an example, controller support for flat screen play and keyboard binding customizations on Desktop.

"The current state of Alien Dawn is that the main Escape game mode is already available in the game, which is a procedurally generated mission that is designed for 1-10 Co-op players that can last anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes, with each playthrough being a challenging and unique experience.

The game works on all major VR headsets: Vive, Index, Oculus, WMR and also includes a Desktop mode that is compatible for crossplay with VR players.

We’ve also included our Developer Room where we test our game. Players can load this level with their team and experiment with all of the items, vehicles, and characters in Alien Dawn.

Lastly, we also have an experimental death match mode for a little versus action if that is your thing."

O preço do jogo será alterado após o fim do acesso antecipado?

"The price should remain the same during the estimated 6 month Early Access time, and would likely marginally increase in price once the official release is launched.

We are an indie team of two people so we don’t intend to charge AAA prices."

Como vocês planejam envolver a comunidade durante o processo de desenvolvimento?

"We spent a year using Valve’s Steam Playtest beta which allowed virtually anyone access to very early development builds of our game, give feedback on our Discord server, and even play the game with us.

This feedback has been invaluable to us and is something we always take into consideration while making our development decisions.

There have been several testers that suggested ideas we hadn’t even considered that eventually found its way into the game, so we love our community and find the process as one of the more enjoyable aspects of our development.
