Why Early Access?

“Getting community feedback is important to me because I believe it will help me improve the game while hopefully building a player base and some excitement around Sir Squire. I would appreciate all the help I can get with balancing the game and making sure others have a fun experience and enjoy playing it with their friends as much as I do.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Depending on the kind of feedback I get, I anticipate this game will be in early access for 3-6 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I'm happy with the current progress of the game. There is a good amount of content such as selectable character and levels, and the core gameplay feels good and shouldn't change. However, I'd like to add even more content for the players to enjoy.

Things I'd like to achieve:
- Polishing art assets
- Adding more levels
- Adding a new game mechanic (not sure what, but I'm hoping the community can help me out!)
- Overall more effects for a more complete and polished game look and feel.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current state of the game gives a good representation of what the final release will be like. The core gameplay feels good and should not change, and you will be able to sit down and have fun playing with a friend. Many of the changes I'd like to implement will either be aesthetic or additions to the current core gameplay.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will not change when we leave early access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I'd like to provide a community forum to allow players to leave me feedback on things that will improve the game such as potential features requests and bug reports.

I'm a single developer pouring my heart and soul into this project in my spare time, so I ask that you please be patient with me and I give you my promise that I will try my hardest to respond to each and everyone that helps me with my goal of releasing my first ever game on Steam.”

About This Game

A casually competitive two player game set in medieval times. Go head to head with friends to see who can collect their feast or claim the land first, while battling each other with swords.

Grab a friend, sit back, and enjoy some friendly 2v2 fun in this 2D retro style, pixelated medieval world.

Perfect your sword timing

Stop your opponent from collecting their feast by hitting them with your sword, or defend yourself by anticipating your opponents attacks and striking back.

Claim your land

Swap all of the banners in the level to display your sigil and show your opponent that this land is yours.

Lots of levels

Every level has a different layout so precise platforming is key to beating your opponent.

Several squires and banners to choose

With lots of varying colors and designs, choose the squire and banner combo that represents you best.
