“Working on Strange Lands as a solo-dev project can be a long, rough road. Early access allows me to get what I've developed out there, to stoke the fires of motivation to add more content, and improve what content there is.

I also want to truly embrace the agile philosophy: "Release early, Release often". With Early access, I can get fast feedback and make adjustments sooner to make a better game faster.”

“It's hard to say! I have a good idea of how much content I want Strange Lands to have, and it's going to take some time to get there. I'd like to get there sooner rather than later, but I also want to be sure to deliver quality at every step of the way.

To go from scratch to the first early access version released took about 2 years working in my spare time. I wouldn't be surprised if getting to a fully complete game takes an additional 2 years.”

“The vision for the final version of Strange Lands is to have eight uniquely themed worlds, each with four levels. Levels towards the end of the game will grow in difficulty and complexity.”
