Miksi Early Access?

We're a husband and wife team working on Stouthollow Tales and we want to enter early access before release so that we can incorporate more player feedback and have more time to eliminate bugs. Player feedback has already been and will continue to be very valuable to our development process going into early access.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

We hope to be out of early access in the first half of 2021.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

The full version of the Stouthollow Tales will have:
  • A Museum feature which allows players to collect sets of items int he game.
  • Many more lines of dialog and the complete story.
  • More complex relationship system with NPCs in town.
  • Completed all of our zones including the mines and the forest.
  • More art assets & full OST.
  • Custom bedroom feature.
  • More side story quests.
  • Less bugs

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

List of current features:
  • Player run shop with full customization of furniture, floor, walls and shrine.
  • Harvesting: mining, woodcutting and reaping.
  • Crafting recipes: Blacksmithing, Leatherworking, Clothcraft, Carpentry, Jewelry, Cooking, Alchemy, Fishing bait.
  • Fishing feature with 4 water body types with different fish in each & legendary (difficult) fish in each body of water.
  • First 2 acts of main story & some side story quests.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

Yes, the early access version price will be lower than the full release price.

We plan to involve the community by using Twitter, Discord and the Steam Forums. We're looking forward to engaging with these platforms in order to drive our feedback to the development process of Stouthollow Tales.

Stouthollow Tales is an old-school JRPG inspired game about managing an item shop. Upgrade and customize your shop with your own style. Scour the land harvesting resources in an effort to expand your inventory. Ally with powerful guilds to unlock access to hundreds of craftable items. You will balance stocking the shelves with the products you harvest and craft with discovering the mystery of the world that surrounds you. The town of Stouthollow may seem quaint, but the Tales you weave will be extraordinary.

Customize Your Store

Create the perfect atmosphere to attract as many of the residents of Stouthollow as possible. As the newly appointed owner of the Stouthollow Item Shop, the shop is yours to customize however you want!

Prove to the town of Stouthollow that you're worthy of their praise.

Get lost in the hollow

While Stouthollow is quaint and peaceful on the surface you'll have to work to uncover hidden truths and ancient mysteries that are hidden just beneath the surface of this rustic town.
