Why Early Access?

“The planning of the project started in March of 2019. At that time, I was working in an Internet company. I wanted to make a game that reflects the growth history of the Internet. So I started to think about the gameplay and content of the game, and looked for plans with the same ideas through the forum. I met a lot of planning and recruitment methods, and finally decided on a colleague with many years of experience in game planning. The project started in mid-September of that year, a technology was introduced in early November, and art came in in February 2020.
The original plan was to go live in October 2020, but the game content is getting more and more, and the part that feels bad is deleted. During this period, I experienced 3 planning resignations, 2 art resignations, and 1 technical resignation, all of which caused a certain time delay in the game development process. And we don't have the funds of an external investment team, and rely on my work salary and a small amount of money from my friends to maintain the development. Insufficient funds lead to shortage of personnel, which is also an aspect that leads to the unsatisfactory progress of the project.
After two full years of overtime work, finally there is content that can be played to the players. The current content is only part of what we want to do. There is still a small part of the part-time work chapter to be produced, and the company chapter still has a lot of content to be realized. During the development process, we hope to maintain communication with our players and get feedback so that the later game content can get better help. Therefore, early access is our best choice, whether it is the survival of the team or better improvement Games can give us a lot of help.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“This game has a relatively large system and very rich game content. At the beginning of the game project, we hoped to create a game world that can be greatly expanded and continuously enriched. We want to make more life content available in In-game presentation, therefore, the early access status will last for a period of time (at least 3 months), and will also be affected by player feedback and suggestions on the game.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Through the early access version to help us in all aspects, the full version of the game will have more efficient operation efficiency, more beautiful game graphics, more beautiful game music, and support for more languages. Of course , And most importantly, there are richer game content, such as stock investment, blockchain investment, email fraud, etc. Because at the beginning of the design, we hoped that "Investment Simulator" is a highly scalable , Rich "The Sims", players can experience the life experience of entrepreneurs in the game, and get a different feeling from other games. In addition, we also have many plans and ideas for the future development of the game, such as: E-commerce, games, social platforms, video companies, search companies with different gameplay and corresponding content, the impact of shareholders on the company’s development, the difficulties and competition faced by the company’s development, the operation of listed companies, etc.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“We spent 2 years developing and providing game demos for players to try. We obtained feedback from players through the community. Although we only opened the game content for a week, we also got positive feedback from players. Generally, we played three times. Four times. Although from our own perspective, this is far from enough, but as an early experience, it can successfully show the core players the style of the game, the content of the gameplay, and get the recognition, support and attention of the players. Perhaps the most important thing. Therefore, although the Early Access version is not complete and mature in all aspects, we believe that it already has a certain degree of playability and I believe it will bring joy to players.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“After the early access is over, due to the increase in game content and the increase in costs in various aspects, the price will also increase.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will actively listen to all the voices of the community and understand the community's expectations and suggestions for the game in order to adjust our production plan. If we are lucky enough to be favored by more people, we will also actively consider launching with the community All kinds of interactions.”
