Why Early Access?

“Elisius is in early access because it was designed to grow off of community feedback, as well as to filter out any bugs or add new and interesting features. We want to grow our player base as big as possible to test and fix, before opening it to full release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We are going to be in early access for a good while, to test features we find buggy, add new content, and make sure it's a quality game. We assume that early access is going to last around a year, give or take a few months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Early access will consist of a lot of bug fixing, but we plan to add a lot of new content. Currently, there is only one map and four characters, along with 12 weapons, six melees, and six ranged. We want to add to this, specifically with new historical characters such as a knight, cossack, and more modern characters like a WW2 soldier. We also want to add more weapons from various time periods, maps, and a secret mechanic that will make the game unique.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“This Early Access version will have considerably fewer features than our intended full release, but will still be an enjoyable game that one can have fun in.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, both versions will be free.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Feedback from the community will also be necessary, as we will build off their ideas and connect with the fan base to expand the game in directions everyone sees fit. Since we experience very little outside input during development, we will rely heavily on community suggestions and feedback. We also will depend on the community to fix bugs that they find. We will strive to add forms to fill out for advice and bugs.”
