Proč předběžný přístup?

„The overall completion of "Black Spire" is relatively high, but we are aware that there are still some parts of the game that need be optimized. We believe it is important to release the game to players as soon as possible for them to experience, and provide feedback for the game's further refinement and development.
We hope "Black Spire" to be of simplified controls while maintain the combat fun and difficulty. One of our game's key features is that the protagonist keeps moving forward herself without taking any input from players. This is a rare design. We are not quite sure how players could accept this, so we hope to release through Early Access and quickly gather feedback from the the community.“

„The EA version is relatively complete. "Black Spire" currently features 40 unique playable levels and dozens of distinctive enemies to challenge. We have made 11 original soundtracks. Players can fully experience the game's content in the EA version.“

Informace o hře

Hello everyone! We are Mechland, a small development team of two members. This is our brand new side-scrolling souls-like game, Black Spire!

Our initial goal in designing this game was to create a ‘Souls game for everyone’, so we simplified our basic game control to just attack and roll. The character will move on itself. Attack and parry share the same button. We hope this design can further streamline combat controls so that the transition between attack and defense can be more seamless.

Of course, you can do far more than this. You can experience so much more in this adventure, getting equipment and accessories and learning a wide array of moves and magics that can be really helpful when you are in a pinch.

Please take your time to explore Black Spire and hone your skills. Strategize your combat style however you like, and slay every opponent that stands in your way!

You’ll also encounter many characters along the journey. Listen to their stories and decide whether you want to help them. It might not always be easy, but you might reap the rewards of friendship in unexpected ways.

Like any Souls game, boss fights are meant to be challenging. These elite enemies will try everything to stop you. And you can only go higher over their dead bodies.

Slay your enemies to reap the rewards, and uncover the dark secrets behind Black Spire. We hope you enjoy our game and have lots of fun!
