為何採用搶先體驗模式？

「Early access is a perfect way to get feedback from a large group of people, without EA, it's very difficult to get people to test your game. The way The Maze was built is that it's sort of an open canvas, I can make big changes without breaking the game according to the customers feedback.」

這款遊戲的搶先體驗時間大約會持續多久？

「It could be from 6 months to 2 years, it all depends on the road that the game will take, such as, is the game gonna have a linear story or will it be a sandbox? Only time will tell.」

正式版預計會與搶先體驗版有何不同？

「For now the game only has one Act and a few opponents. I'm planning on adding at least 4 Acts in total and many other types of opponents with different skills. I want to vastly improve the AI and the physics feel of the opponents. Change the 3D models of the weapons to higher quality ones. Add more character options for the players, for now there is only one Samurai. Improve the story telling. A lobby room that you can interact with other players before starting the match. And adding a much better quality of life.」

「1 Act, 24 guns, 24 melee weapons, 8 different opponents. Workable coop gameplay up to 3 players.」

「If the end product be vastly better than the first version, then probably yes.」

Gameplay

Welcome to the ultimate cooperative virtual reality experience! In this game, you and your friends will embark on a mysterious and thrilling adventure that will test your skills and courage.


To survive in this strange and ominous world, you'll need to work together, using a combination of guns with realistic mechanisms and melee weapons to take down your enemies and make your way through the ever-changing maze. With each kill, you’ll grow stronger and will be able to purchase upgrades with the coins collected from the corpses of your enemies.


With each new level comes a new theme, from dark and haunted Ruins with storms to a vintage American diner or a bowling alley. And because the maze is randomly generated, no two playthroughs will ever be the same.



But be warned: this is not a game for the faint of heart. With its unsettling atmosphere and spine-tingling soundtrack, you'll be constantly on edge, never sure what lurks around the next corner.



Lore

The Maze is a VR Co-op game in which human players arrive in a new realm after being teleported from their homelands. The size and purpose of the maze is unknown, the only thing that is certain is that they have to survive in this extremely harsh environment.


The Maze changes according to our memories, imagination, dreams, and transforms itself into an even more chaotic realm as more people arrive. Environments change according to the memories of the living beings within it.
