Lo que dicen los desarrolladores:

¿Por qué ofreces acceso anticipado?

«The game is fun to play in it's current state. The world size, missions, castle development and all other PVE aspects of the game will take a player many hours to exhaust, depending on player skill and aggressiveness. However, because it is at its core a multiplayer game, with player to player interaction being a vital part of the content, a strong player base needs to form around it, which at this time, honestly, does not exist.

Additionally, there are several features, mostly related to player interaction (for example, player cooperation) are not yet there, or have very basic implementations.»

¿Cuánto tiempo va a estar este juego en acceso anticipado aproximadamente?

«The game will be in early access until the player cooperative mode is implemented.

In terms of estimated time, that can be no sooner then September 1st 2020 up to the end of 2020.»

¿Qué diferencias habrá entre la versión completa y la versión de acceso anticipado?

«Players will be able to associate with each other in a system similar to the feudal system. There will be lords and vassals, with a player being lord for some and being a vassal to another at the same time.

Battles, which are now simple one vs one engagements will allow multiple players, or entities, to fight on each side, with players joining in as the fighting develops.

Numerous additional lord skills will be added, with the planned army sizes being about 6-10 times larger then in the early access version.

The magic and spell casting system, which now only contains very few basic spells, even if still useful and fun to use, will see a great increase in number of spells available and also scaling with lord experience.

Finally, the game is about the player which holds "The capital city", which is only one castle. This castle does not exist, because it would not be fair for it to be available until a strong player base is formed.»

¿Cuál es el estado actual de la versión de acceso anticipado?

«The TLDR : Fully working game, but with limited content and no player cooperation.

The PVE, or single player content, should be enough for many hours of gameplay. As a reference, the people testing the game need about 20-25 hours to burn through the game. That is to complete each mission at least once, conquer the best available castle and build a level 5 blacksmith there.

Players can fight each other, there are castles for players to fight over and also dedicated PVP maps.

There are a little over 350 armor and weapon pieces available, not counting those that are procedurally generated on various missions in the game.

There are 45 lord skills available.

The magic and spell casting system is just a foundation, with only 9 unique spells.»

¿El precio del juego será diferente durante y después del acceso anticipado?

«Short answer, slightly different if at all.

The game uses a system of microtransactions with premium currency linked to each player account. When purchasing the game, the player will receive a certain amount of this premium currency. This amount is, during early access, worth up to 20 times more then the price of the game. As the game gets closer to being finished, this amount will be slightly lowered.

Also, being part of the early access pretty much means you get a head start in the game.»

¿Cómo tienes planeado involucrar a la comunidad en tu proceso de desarrollo?

«Being an online MMORPG, the community feedback weighs heavily in all future game development, both by direct feedback or by us studying the in game player behavior.

Apart from changing the core game concepts, all ideas and requests will be very seriously analyzed and considered.

Acerca de este juego

The game action takes place in a medieval fantasy setting. The players get to develop their starting town with resources collected from the nearby lands, to raise increasingly powerful armies which they use to advance their conquest.

Starting conditions

The player begins as a lord of a small castle on a remote island. With the help of a few poorly armed fighting men, or by itself, it battles bandits and monsters, to collect resources and help the people of the island.

Castle Building

The castle building happens in steps, called seasons. Each season, the player gets to organize and manage the town with all economic actions taking effect at the end of each season. Season length varies based on kingdom size, with larger kingdoms having longer seasons.

Armies

The player builds weapons in the castle. These weapons can be equipped on soldiers trained in the barracks. It is the equipment given to the soldier that defines it's abilities. Soldiers can wear 5 different pieces of armor and use 1 weapon in each hand. The number of items available to the player, which is initially low, grows fast forcing the player to balance the increased weapon costs with the cost of recruiting more soldiers.

Exploration

The player commands armies lead by lords. Initially, only one army can be moved around, on a grid based map. Moving the army reveals more territory with new challenges and opportunities.
The large maps contain quest givers which offer missions taking place in smaller areas. These areas are otherwise hidden. Completing quests allows the player to advance deeper into the world.

Combat

The combat happens on a hex grid, with the units involved taking turns to act based on their speed.

Progress

There are two aspects of progress in the game.
One is the economic progress. Developing a castle, and later on conquering other castles and developing those, will advance the kingdom technology allowing the player to get its hands on more powerful equipment, or in larger quantities.
The second one is the advancement of each army commander, the lords, by gaining experience. Experience is used to train skills that improve the battle abilities of an army, either by allowing a more numerous and specialized force, or by boosting the individual soldiers strength.

Player vs Player interaction

For the first few steps a new player makes, there is no pressure from other players. The first castle the player owns acts as a sanctuary which cannot be touched by others. As the player progresses, it can choose to get more involved with other players, by running missions on islands accessible by everyone.
Eventually, player conflict becomes inevitable.
Players will find each other on the map and may choose to attack. The engagements happen either directly, by two armies meeting, indirectly, when an army is inside a mission area and the other one finds it, or with an army attacking a player owned castle.

Objectives

The game does not have an ending. The objective of each player is to hold the most advanced castle it can for as long as it can.
