Rise & Reign is a hardcore medieval multiplayer survival game where kingdoms are controlled by players and the throne can be claimed. Begin with nothing, gather resources, build fortifications, and establish your power.

Choose any path you can think of — open a shop, become a bandit, offer your services as a mercenary, participate in realm politics, or rise to become the king and tax the entire realm. Players have the freedom to shape the world and choose their destiny.

Rise & Reign is a multiplayer game that is most enjoyable with friends. Players can form clans, coordinate through in-game voice and text chat, and work together to dominate the realm.

The combat system is based around attacks, blocks, and feints. Block or dodge an enemy's attack and quickly counter-attack or feint your enemy into blocking and attack them while their guard is down. After victory, loot your enemies and take their gear.

Once established, escalate warfare with siege equipment. Set up trebuchets to break enemy fortifications or use explosive barrels to breach doorways. Defend your own base by countering enemy siege weapons and rallying your allies for large-scale ground battles on servers that support 50–100 players.

LORDSHIPS AND THE THRONE 

The realm is divided into three Lordships, each claimable by building a Lord Totem within its borders. Lords rule their territories, set tax rates, and grow their power — but they answer to the throne.

If no ruler sits on the throne, a Lord may construct a Royal Totem and crown themselves king or queen. But power comes at a cost. The Royal Totem’s location is revealed to every player, marking you as the ultimate target.

As ruler, you can tax the entire realm — including the other Lords. They can comply… or rebel. Rebellious Lords cut off your income and threaten your reign, forcing you to maintain power through strength, diplomacy, or fear.

Those who successfully claim the throne gain access to exclusive Royal Armor, a symbol of their dominance over the realm.

CAPTURE AND PUNISHMENT

Get creative with your methods by capturing other players. Captured players cannot move independently or access their inventories until they are released or put in shackles. Punish or execute captured players by using a variety of medieval torture devices. Imprison them in a cage for safekeeping or let them out in shackles and put them to work. Watch out for escape attempts. Players may have a tool hidden and use it to free themselves.

EXTENSIVE COMBAT SYSTEM

Rise & Reign’s first and third-person combat system throws players into an intense medieval environment. With our unique limb-based health system, a player will die when their torso or head health reaches zero. If leg health reaches zero, they become crippled. In addition to the melee system, players may also utilize ranged weapons such as bows and crossbows. Crafting good armor is quintessential to holding your own, as the protection it provides may prove to be the difference between life and death.

SIEGES AND RAIDS

Plunder the castles of your enemies for all their valuable loot. Depending on the blocks used in the enemy fortification, you may be able to break in with simple tools. If they built using either cobblestone or brick, siege weapons must be utilized. Traditional medieval siege equipment, such as the trebuchet, can be set up and aimed at the enemy fortification. Keep an eye on the enemy as they may counter-attack with their own siege equipment.

FORGING CLANS

Create a clan and invite your friends for reinforcements. Players may utilize voice and text chat in order to coordinate their groups. Players can use the hierarchy system within their clan’s menu to organize their members and assign privileges. Start out as a recruit within another clan or found your own. Will your clan be the one to dominate the realm?

LOOTING

Venture into abandoned ruins from the past in search of gold, unique armor, and common resources. Surrounded by a debilitating unknown plague, something seems amiss. The trace of all previous civilization has almost been entirely erased. Linger too long, and it may cost you your life.

BUILDING YOUR EMPIRE

Expand your empire by building fortifications, production stations, refineries, and claiming more land. You have a multitude of blocks at your disposal. Make sure you build a strong castle with high quality blocks as soon as possible or else you may be left in ruin. Power is never given. It is taken.
