Why Early Access?

“The game will be released in episodic format, just like its predecessor. This time it will just happen in Early Access, to prepare for a better and bigger launch once all the content is ready!

While I have the basic outline ready for future episodes, the details and focus of them will change upon player feedback. Early Access allows me to gather more player feedback from the start, to make sure the game supports a multitude of play styles!

And last but not least; I need the help. Over the years the Lakeview Cabin games have grown bigger, and thus take more time to develop. Buying the game while in EA helps me keep food on the table for my two kids.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I'm aiming to release it within 1,5-2 years. There will be new episodes to play during this period, with updates to the older ones posted frequently.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will include 4 big episodes, each a unique horror experience. The game also contains a hub level that connects everything together, and the final version will have a few additional surprises...”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The hub level is there, along with the first episode. 2-player split screen co-op is also implemented.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will increase by a small amount once the game leaves Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“While I have a general outline of what the upcoming episodes will be, the canvas is still blank.
Getting involved this early will help me shape the rest of the game into a more complete package, where hopefully every type of player will have a gruesome but fun time.
