„At the start of Early Access, Successor will launch with a handful of story campaigns, a few lords and factions, and an experimental version of the Campaign Generator, offering around 5–6 hours of gameplay from day one. Throughout Early Access, we plan to expand the game with additional handcrafted campaigns introducing new lords, heroes, factions, biomes, objectives, and more. We also aim to fully refine the Campaign Generator, hopefully incorporating many of the great features requested by our community. By the full release, we expect the game to offer 15+ hours of gameplay. “

„The core gameplay of Successor is fully playable and has been for quite some time. At launch, the game will feature several story campaigns introducing new lords, heroes, and factions—each with a variety of unique enemies. Players will battle across a diverse range of exotic diorama-style boards.

In addition, we’re introducing an experimental Campaign Generator, allowing players to create their own campaigns with game-changing kickers to keep each run fresh and exciting.

A rough estimate of playtime is around 5–6 hours for the story campaigns, plus a few extra hours attempting to conquer generated campaigns with challenging kickers.“
