Wozu Early Access?

„When we displayed the game's demo at the Steam festival last May, we set the release date for May this year. The game is unfortunately not ready to be released yet, but it is in a playable condition. We want to get feedback from players to see if/why they like the game, and to learn what features attract players so that we can focus on improving that experience. Once we have implemented the essential list of features, then the v1 release would happen.“

Wie lange wird dieses Spiel ungefähr den Early Access-Status haben?

„At least more than 6 months, probably 1 - 2 years. If the game gains traction then we will release v1 when appropriate, and continue to support it indefinitely. If it looks like people are not interested however, we will wrap up development and move on to greater things.“

Wie soll sich die Vollversion von der Early Access-Version unterscheiden?

„We would like to implement a lot more features and create more items.
We plan for the full version to have the following things:
  • Boss battles
  • Inventory system
  • Shop
  • Scoring & Leader boards
  • End cinematic
“

Was ist der derzeitige Stand der Early Access-Version?

„The game is playable and in good condition, but is unfinished and it lacks content. Regardless of that, you can still expect a unique top-down 3D dungeon crawling experience. You can explore, fight monsters, find loot, and try to reach the ending. See the "About This Game" section for all the playable features.“

Wird dieses Spiel während und nach Early Access unterschiedlich viel kosten?

„Most likely, the finished game might be priced higher after Early Access.“

Wie werden Sie versuchen die Community in den Entwicklungsprozess miteinzubeziehen?

„We will make use of Steam's community hub. The plan is to post a big dev update on Early Access launch, followed by frequent dev logs to keep players up to date on new features.“

Animocity is a hardcore top-down shooter game where we follow a bunch of magical animals down an ever changing set of dungeons as they use spells to fight their way out.

Prologue:
Deep in the enchanted valley of Argynost, among the dense forests, the serene lakes, and the silent hills, away from the world of men, magical beasts lived in harmony and peace, in societies of their own making, enjoying the gifts of Nature.
But the forces of darkness showed its face as the skies turned dark one night and evil, heinous demons crawled out of the earth, feasting upon the world.
The magical beasts were forced to run, away from their homes, into the isolated mountains. There was no other way, but to go through the caves…
