Why Early Access?

“We know that the expectations for the reboot of the renowned series are very high. We are going into Early Access with GOAL! The Club Manager (aka Anstoss in Germany) in order to work together with the community to optimize the complex game systems.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The duration of the Early Access phase can’t be defined in terms of time necessarily. The deciding factors will be that A) we have included all the content we have in mind and B) we are working closely with the community to ensure that this content fulfills its potential.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“New features such as the online multiplayer mode or the option to train national teams will be added in the course of the next weeks and months. In addition, some areas of the game will be visually enhanced. Voice-overs will be added in all supported languages and much more. Of course, we will also be bug-fixing and further optimizing GOAL! The Club Manager. The roadmap is full to the brim.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“For Early Access we focus on delivering the core of the single-player experience. We plan on adding many more features like national teams and international cup competitions as soon as possible. Also the balancing will be constantly checked and finetuned, if needed.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. We acknowledge that for the intitial release not all content and features are not fully integrated, so we decided to lower the price for the start of Early Access. We value patronage from each and every player that starts with us on our journey. When we eventually release into version 1.0 the price for GOAL! will be raised.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community and its feedback have played a major role since the start of development. The motto "By fans. For fans. With fans." is not an empty phrase. During the Early Access phase, we want to use the feedback from all players (whether franchise veterans or newcomers) to turn our vision into a football management experience that does justice to the renowned series.”
