「This game is fun, but it can get a whole lot better. The best way to do that is by listening to the gaming community. The Old World is massive, and we want you to have a hand in crafting it. Early Access is a fun way to receive constructive feedback by players who are invested in the future of the game, work with our players to bring in exciting features that they dream of and keep the players involved every step of the way.」

「For at least one year, but depending on player feedback and the amount of content we choose to put into the final game, it may take longer.」

「Expanded Multiplayer features are a top priority.

We plan to add a multitude of new features and content including open world travel, persistent armies, greater character and army progression, custom army builders and more. We want to create a dark, living, vibrant world that takes your breath away. We want new worlds to conquer, additional foes to slay, and neutral races and towns which make a big impact on the game.

搶先體驗版目前的開發進度如何？

「Feature-wise the game is about 75% complete and content-wise it is about 50% complete.

Most planned core features of the game have been implemented. Single-player is fully functional and Multiplayer will be released soon after Early Access.

There are currently three fully developed biomes out of a planned total of nine. There are about 15 different items (weapons, materials, armor, etc.) in the game, which we plan to expand drastically. We have one complete race (Kingdom of Andar) which will be expanded to six (Undead, Marauders, Daemons, Keepers, Little Folk) with incredibly different playstyles relying on completely different resources. We have around 35 different types of creatures including monsters, animals and bosses.

There is currently Act I - Ruun Province available as a fully-fledged Single-player campaign. This is intended as a testing ground for future features. content, and Acts.」

「No definitive plans here yet, but it is likely that the price will be increased over the course of the Early Access period. The price may also increase moderately when we release with full features. We will try to keep the game accessible to all.」

在開發過程中，您打算如何與社群互動？

「We currently use the Steam forums as our primary ways to talk to our community. Players are welcome to suggest new features and modifications in the "ideas & suggestions" chat channel. Upcoming changes are openly discussed with the community for early feedback. A closed test-group of players have access to the latest builds of the game and work closely with the dev-team. The test-group evaluates and tests new features and changes before they are released publicly. We will continue to develop this process based on the needs and feedback of the community.」
