What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Police Response VR : Disturbance in Early Access. This is our first release being a team of 2.

Game play is being continually added to. Updates will be coming on a regular basis from the feedback. This has been made to get the real and right feedback from our players.

We would like to make clear that the development of the experience isn't yet finalised and will continue to be worked on throughout the coming weeks until it's what the community want.
Improvements will take this entire game to a new and better place however we realise at this stage that there may be certain errors during the gameplay that we need feedback on. So what better way than to sort the feedback from the players to make the improvement.

Players can expect to get a realistic experience that may or may not take a long time to complete dependent on the decisions that are made. The difficulty level is randomized from the start as with real life. Your Rank will grow as long as you survive the next test. Failure will result in having to restart as a new recruit.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The plan will be to keep the game in early access until these pending issues are resolved. We anticipate the game being available for a full release in 2021 once having the reviews and feedback from the players.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Most importantly we intend to listen to what the Community want.
You can contact us via or the Steam Community Hub for all your thoughts as well as the normal reviews if you have the time!

The full release will plan to have achievements, full flowing game play, along with improved detailing throughout the game. All this will lead to a much improved version of Police Response VR : Disturbance.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At this time in early access you'll be able to play the game and progress through the 30 Ranks if you're successful.

We've decided that in the first instance it will be a single player, stand alone game. The score sheet has been completed for pass and fail but we'd like feedback for achievements and obviously any game stopping errors that occur.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We're giving an Early Access price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We as developers on Steam depend on you the community and with your help we can make this experience the best it can possibly be. We will listen and make the right changes from all the feedback we receive.
This is very much an exciting time for the entire VR gaming community with such great experiences being released and we look forward to hearing from you people soon on our game. Stay Safe People.

Thank You One & All”

About This Game

Experience the Disturbance Room as you take on whatever is presented before you.
Have you got the skills to cope in pressure situations?

In this game you don't have the option to run away. This is a stationary standing experience only.
Set in one room you will be faced with an A.I.
During the scenario's you choose the right time to react if required without using excessive force in order to progress through the ranks. You the officer have to dynamically risk assess the situation you're faced within this game.

Play in Easy or Normal Mode

Easy Mode play through allows you to draw weapons without failing, unless you hit an innocent civilian. This is set as the default.

Normal Mode (professional) play through allows you to play the game as originally intended.

Circumstances are likely to change extremely quickly to test if you can react to a situation and not freeze.
Your job is to observe and react with the appropriate amount of force. Remember just grabbing and picking up a weapon is a USE OF FORCE

You start in the Police locker room for your options page that allows you to change the controller settings, volume level, graphics level and if you are left or right handed to carry your pistol. Officers are trained to carry the lethal force option on their strong side so not to confuse it with the Taser, weaker side option. You can enter the Training Range and perfect your weapon drawing and handling skills.
Once you're ready to respond you have the choice of any 3 lockers showing your New Recruit Badge. Select this option and you're directed to the Disturbance Call...
By being successful you pass and continue up the Ranks to reach your retirement of 30 years service, you can choose to return to the locker room where your Rank progress will be saved in your locker. Fail and you lose your rank and job, you then have to restart as a new recruit.

You'll be armed with a side arm pistol, taser, pepper spray and handcuffs.
Always remember you are a professional officer and are in your role to keep the peace and serve the community. Take the verbal onslaught and emotions that create tense and confrontational experiences that often lead to excessive force remembering to only use the right amount of force at the right time as a professional officer should.

Are you ready to respond officer?
