What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“It is important for a game in the niche of street racing to be thoroughly tested through it's development cycle. I want to provide the best game possible while receiving feedback suggestions. Early Access will allow rapid deployment of features and allow fans to fine tune and steer the game in the direction that they want.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“While no exact estimations can be made, the general rule for Early Access would be 12 months. As I continue development ,this may get smaller or bigger depending on where the game goes and how the community shapes its direction. It is important to have a solid product by the end of the Early Access phase and I am committed to that.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I hope to make the full version of the game into an expansive street racing game. The main goal for the full version is to have a wide variety of mountain pass locations that are all interconnected through a Wangan (highway) system that the player can free roam on. The freedom to drive to your events, mountain pass locations, or just have fun on the map is a big thing for me. I hope to achieve all of this while also providing a large vehicle list, expansive parts/upgrades list, and online capabilities that can be used outside of the story mode.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently you can customize a variety of vehicles in depth with many different parts. The highway system is fully at your leisure with a couple of mountain passes interconnected for you to free roam and race on. You can participate in different events on the various mountains or choose to follow the first chapter of the story on your home mountain.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I plan to keep the price unchanged throughout Early Access until special development milestones are reached. Once exiting Early Access, the price will change to reflect the overall content and provided experience.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community is the first and foremost when developing. All changes and features will be a direct result of community feedback. Our forums are a great way to reach us and submit suggestions, feedback, and any other concerns for Sokudo Nights. In addition we always welcome you to join our official Discord server to do the same! Additionally you can engage with the community on a more personal level through Discord!”
