Miksi Early Access?

Novalance has only a limited number of choosable mechs and attachments. We wish to bring the total number option mechs to 10 before the full release, This will be accompanied by a 5v5 match time allowing for a variety of counter gameplays to take place in the matches.
We still have not finished the balancing and final game rules to ensure an enjoyable game for our players. EA will give us an opportunity to fine-tune Novalance's mechanics before the full release.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

Our current goal would be for October/November for full release if things went as planned.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

Additional maps, more balanced combat, more mechs, customizable skins, ranked matches/leaderboards, more sophisticated matching system.

Currently, Novalance has a 1v1 and a 3v3 deathmatch. There are 4 playable mechs, with 4 customizable weapon slots and 3 playable maps.

Novalance retail price will gradually raise when we add new content and features.

Miten yhteisö otetaan mukaan kehitysprosessiin?

We want to hear player feedback as we develop novalance. Using steams community forums and discord we will hear feedback from players on features that may need to be removed/tweaked, along with features that the community would like to see implemented.

We will often reach out to the community on Steam/Discord/Twitter for suggestions/poll voting and inputs when deciding if/how to implement a new design.

Key Features

Customize your mech to suit your playstyle

Purchase new mechs, weapons and accessories using credits earned on the battlefield. Customize your mech in the workshop and select a loadout to suit your playstyle. Each mech type has its own strengths and weaknesses, and the dozens of different weapon systems allow for numerous build options. There will be 4 unique mechs available upon release - each with 4 weapon slots for customization.

Team up with your friends
Invite and play beside your friends, or let the automatic matchmaking system find a group for you. On the battlefield, synergize with your teammates in order to achieve victory.
