„Blind Descent has been undergoing development since early 2019, and our primary goal is to ensure that we enter Early Access with fully established core mechanics. By releasing the game in early access, we aim to gather valuable feedback from players, allowing us to create a well-rounded experience that incorporates both our vision and the suggestions of the players. Moreover, this early access period will enable us to access additional resources and craft the ultimate version of the game.“

„Providing an exact timeframe is challenging, but tentatively, we anticipate a release within a year since EA launch. However, we must prioritize the development of a compelling narrative and ensure the game is in excellent condition before concluding the "Early Access" phase. Therefore, the timeline may extend beyond our initial estimate.“

„During the early access period, Blind Descent will regularly receive content updates, including significant story additions that introduce new elements and expand the game's narrative. While the playable portion of the story may be limited during this phase, the final version of the game will seamlessly integrate the complete storyline and full gameplay mechanics. These substantial story updates will also introduce fresh biomes, creatures, resources, and other exciting features to enrich the game's overall experience.“

„All the core mechanics have been successfully implemented. However, there is still further refinement needed to enhance the overall content and gameplay experience before the early access launch. A survival and exploration mission deep beneath the Martian surface. A team of up to four pioneers has been sent to uncover the fate of a missing crew within a vast, uncharted underground world. What was supposed to be a routine expedition has become a fight for human survival. As exploration begins, the subterranean world reveals itself as a living, reactive ecosystem. It is no longer just a mission, it’s a transformation, a challenge to integrate and thrive in a world where survival hinges on your ability to learn, adapt, and symbiotize.

1. You're the outsider in a mesmerizing and deadly world: Unravel the fate of the missing pioneer team as you delve into the Martian depths. With the help of your AI assistant, explore a living ecosystem filled with mysteries. It’s not your typical adventure story, this world challenges you to grow into it, adapt, and ultimately understand its intricate balance. Every step you take reveals more alien secrets, pulling you deeper into a symbiotic existence.

2. Use versatile crafting to survive: Research the lifeforms around you to gather resources and craft essential tools. Observing how alien creatures interact with their environment can lead to powerful insights. Every crafted item connects you further to the alien world, transforming survival into a path to integration.

3. Build a reliable shelter: Construct shelters and custom bases log by log to protect yourself from Martian hazards and lifeforms. Vines, fungal growths, and creeping alien organisms react to neglect, overtaking poorly maintained shelters. Building here isn’t just construction; it’s about coexisting with an ecosystem that has its own will.

4. Traverse dangerous terrain with advanced climbing tools: Scale cliffs and navigate the perilous landscape using dynamic climbing gear to explore deeper underground. The alien world offers unique traversal challenges, and adaptation to these obstacles is key to survival.

5. Adapt to alien and unusual environmental hazards and biomes: Face ever-changing threats like underground storms, toxic gases, and aggressive creatures. Success depends on observing and learning. Sometimes symbiosis means turning these hazards into survival strategies.

6. Utilize mutation-enhanced abilities: Gain powerful mutations to enhance your genetics as well as combat, and exploration skills. Early field data indicates that consuming specific alien fruits or spores unlocks biological adaptations, allowing pioneers to explore deeper and survive harsher conditions.

7. Survive as a team: Collaborate with up to three pioneers to gather resources, build shelters, and explore the underground world together. Symbiosis extends to teamwork—your survival depends on the collective adaptation and shared insights of your crew.
