„Kristala will remain in Early Access for approximately 18 months, though timing may shift based on player feedback and development progress. During this time, the game will be released in Chapters.

Each Chapter offers 4–12 hours of gameplay, depending on your playstyle and level of engagement with side quests. Early Access is a one-time purchase that grants you access to the full game, including all base Chapters and any future Chapter DLC content, regardless of when you join.

„For the Early Access release, we plan to have the core gameplay infrastructure and key features related to combat and exploration implemented.

The full release will include additional level areas, clan characters and corresponding spell trees, weapon types and talents, traversal mechanics, and feline-related skills. It will also include additional boss fights; NPCs and quests; consumables; item, weapon, and armor additions; story items; challenge modes; achievements; end-game scenario(s); and other exciting features and functionality.

We want players to feel truly immersed in the dark fantasy world we've created, which will take time. This immersion will be strengthened the closer we get to a full release.“

„Chapters I and II of Kristala are available now in Early Access.

Chapter I introduces the Nisarga clan biome, inviting you to explore the dense forests of Dalamase and the lush, overgrown city of Nisar. Chapter II expands the journey to include the necromantic Myrtuna clan domain, featuring the Myrish Grotto, Hallowed Haunts, and underground city of Myr.

Your adventure begins with a full character creation system that includes multiple fur patterns and fur lengths, two body and voice types, three playable clans that define your magic type, and six starting classes that determine your initial stats and gear.

Early Access features three weapon types per clan—claw enhancements, a greatsword, or a longsword + shield combo—with more planned for the full release. Level up at ancient Ellarial Fonts: checkpoint-like shrines where you can spend collected Kris (XP) to upgrade stats, use Kris Pearls to unlock spells via clan spell trees, and fast travel between discovered Fonts.

Master fluid traversal with parkour-style movements—climbing, tightrope walking, pole swinging, and both vertical and horizontal wall-running. Use stealth and verticality to perform aerial assassinations and land critical attacks.

Along the journey, meet colorful NPCs who offer quests, visit clan capital cities, and upgrade gear at the Forge. Face off against a motley array of mutated enemies and 8+ unique bosses, including powerful Shard Guardians designed to test your mastery of the arcane.“
