為何採用搶先體驗模式？

「Whacky Golf's vision is to become one of the best modern party games. Rather than holding back the entire game from the world, I feel it's better to release it from the first moment the game is fun.

This way I can work on some of the smaller planned features as well as new courses, while gathering feedback from the players and improving the game in any way I can. If the game is flawed, I want to be able to fix it as early as possible, so when the game finally releases it'll be the best it can be.」

「I estimate the game being in Early Access for 1 to 2 years. Buying the game in Early Access will help support me to get the game finished as quickly and professionally as possible.」

正式版預計會與搶先體驗版有何不同？

「The finished version of the game is expected to have many more course pieces, online multiplayer, more customizable characters, better audio, a larger play area, and secret collectables.

Some of these features are already in the works, and will be rolled out during the Early Access period.」

搶先體驗版目前的開發進度如何？

「The first version of Whacky Golf has the minimum functionality required for it to be a fun game. It has one course of 9 holes, plus the whacking and golfing mechanics in place.

At the time of writing this, many of the models and textures are still placeholder or otherwise incomplete. The first playable version on Steam will be representative of the final product, but smaller in scope.」

遊戲售價在搶先體驗期間前後會有所變動嗎？

「Whacky Golf will be offered at a cheaper price during its Early Access phase. There will be a lot more content in the released version, and a cheaper price is a fair reward for the players who gave this game a chance back when it was still growing.」

「I've set up a discord https://discord.gg/uhjgYZwwXB to engage with the community, as well as social media accounts and a website.

I really, really love feedback and I know the game won't truly be great unless I learn what the fans like and what they don't. I will actively monitor discussions around the game and consider any suggestions made by the community.」
