What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We have had many players try out our game and found that there are a few major playstyles that most of the people have used. While we do think this game is enjoyable at its current state, we want to see which playstyles are truly dominant for our game so that we can add new features to expand on that fun.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The game will release in Early Access in March. We hope to have the full version released by early May.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“As this is a crafting game, giving players more things to make will definitely be one of our goals.
We want feedback to see exactly where to expand. We have plans for more decorative buildings and more enemy types and wish to see how people play are game so that we know what to focus our efforts on.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is fully playable. All the buildings and features needed to complete the game are implemented.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, the game will still be free when we leave Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will be constantly looking through our reviews and message boards on steam while being available for feedback on social media.”

About This Game

ArchiTac is a resource gathering and crafting game where you play as TAC, an astronaut whose ship has crashed onto a deserted planet. In order to get off this planet and continue your journey, you will have to collect resources to find and repair your ship while fighting off the local wildlife who are not too happy about your presence here.

Key Features

  • Vertical Base Building - Build up to reach the many floating islands around this planet and find new buildings and resources to use.
  • Antagonistic Wildlife - The local animals are none too happy about you being on their planet. You will have to either build ways to handle them or fight them off yourself lest they destroy all of your hard work.
  • No Survival Mechanics - Tired of having to stop what you are doing in order to make sure your character drinks water every five seconds, so are we. In ArchiTac, your goal is to reach and repair your ship but if you want to just spend your time exploring the islands and building whatever you want you are free too without worry of death due to not eating a donut in the last minute.
