Was die Entwickler zu sagen haben:

Wozu Early Access?

„Our goal is to create a fine turn-based strategy with the ability to collect your troops. And in order for the the term “collectible” to be a real thing in the game, not just a fancy part of the naming, we have decided to use a technology called Tangle. We hope that Tangle will enable us to make each troop unique with its own history of victories and defeats. Besides that Tangle should help protect the gameplay from cheaters and DDoS attacks.
While this technology is under development we still have an opportunity to show the players the gameplay process. Our plan is simple: players check out the game, leave their feedback and suggestions, we take stuff into account, polish the process and make the game really Awesome!“

Wie lange wird dieses Spiel ungefähr den Early Access-Status haben?

„We estimate to exit early access in 1-2 years. Our project uses an experimental for the gaming world technology called Tangle, and its development will also affect the development of our game. Besides that we have a great variety of ideas on how we can tweak gameplay. Because of all of this, we cannot announce a more exact time of exiting the early access.“

Wie soll sich die Vollversion von der Early Access-Version unterscheiden?

„The early access version of the game lets the player get acquainted with the basic gameplay using non-collectible units in different game modes.
We plan that the full version will have this:
  • An ability to open boosters and collect the troops they contain;
  • The total number of players at a single table can reach up to 6;
  • Ranked matches;
  • An ability to give control over your army to a bot;
  • Tournaments with an ability to choose the tournament format;
  • A variety of game rooms and their interior design;
  • An ability to choose your avatar at the table;
  • Plus a lot of things that our players might suggest! ;)

Was ist der derzeitige Stand der Early Access-Version?

„Entering the early access version you get several modes with a draft of non-collectible tokens in the 1vs1 format.

More about available modes:
  • A match vs a bot;
  • A match vs your Steam friend;
  • A match vs another person on the same pc using hot seat;
  • A match versus random online player;
  • A match of bot vs bot. Take some popcorn and watch them fight!

Wird dieses Spiel während und nach Early Access unterschiedlich viel kosten?

„After the release, we plan to add an in-game store, in which collectible tokens will be sold.“

Wie werden Sie versuchen die Community in den Entwicklungsprozess miteinzubeziehen?

„We are sure that it is impossible to get a great product without the community participating in the creation of the game. That is why we have introduced a convenient feedback system inside the game. Also everyone willing can join our Discord channel, follow us on Twitter, Youtube and Facebook. Of course, we cannot guarantee the fulfillment of all ideas that will be in the feedback. However, we will certainly listen and take into account everything that players have to write to us.
Besides giving feedback and helping with bug reports in early access, right now anyone has the opportunity to create their own bots using the LUA language. You decide if you’ll use them to fight in a game mode, or share them with friends. We plan that in the future players will be able to use their written bots to fight instead of themselves. We respect and value the community of our players and will try to find more means of close cooperation.“

LIVING ROADMAP

SHORT STORY

Long before the Armageddon events, a team of dashing lumberjacks, having cut down another bunch of trees (also having drained a few bottles of new wine) have decided to relax in the shade of the tree crowns. The wine has hit the spot, but alas, the nap did not take its toll.

After some time one of the strong men pulled out a coin shaped cut of a branch, which had been prepared in advance, and loudly declared in a drunken bass: “My King, what are your orders?!” The scene then was followed by a booming laugh.
When the laughter had subsided, one of the participants took a second wooden coin and nibbled it as if it was made of gold.
“My coins of the undead are stronger than yours! My forces will bite into them, and they won’t even get to the battle” – he completed in a thoughtful tone.
“Then I will play as demons!” – picked up the third. All three looked at each other laughing again.
“Let us play, let’s battle, yes let’s play” – echoed laughter through the trees.

It would have ended like this, just a joke, but the next day, without any arrangements, all three of them would bring along a couple of dozens of uneven round coin shaped tokens made from a chopped branch.

They all set down around a stump and looked at each other, as if saying “so, how are we even going to play this?”. And then the Lord of Acorns, holding one of his tokens high, declared that his cavalry was advancing on the Undead. With these words, he slammed the token on the stump with such force that it let out a creak.
“Now it is your turn of the “Undead”, or yours of the “Demon”, decide for yourself, I’m not afraid of any of you...” - declared the first player in a royal tone of utter importance, lifting his head up to emphasize his noble origin.

A month later, all the lumberjack brigades were already playing the wooden tokens. A little later, the fame of a peasants’ small fun game reached the local guild master. There was only one problem – the status did not allow the upper classes to mess with the chopped branches. But defeating the hideous werewolves and demons using the Golden Templars is of course another matter entirely. Thus the first Post Scriptum CTG coins were cast.
