Miksi Early Access?

Bare Butt Boxing is a multiplayer PvP brawler game that has many design elements that will benefit from scaling with our community.

We plan on staying very active during Early Access publishing updates that will add:
- new playable levels
- new playable characters
- new cosmetic items players can unlock
- new gameplay items like bonuses and dynamic objects
- additional game modes

Additionally we want to take player feedback into consideration to steer the project into the most engaging direction and for gameplay balancing.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

We plan on being in Early Access around 10-12 months.

We plan on making the full version of the game packed with more features:
- A larger suite of playable levels, characters, cosmetics
- Refined and polished gameplay mechanics
- More game modes like local multiplayer (which will not be available on EA launch)
- Support for custom lobbies

Early Access version has:
- robust online multiplayer with dedicated servers and matchmaking
- 6 playable characters
- 3 playable levels with bonus items and dynamic objects
- basic economy system for player progression
- dozens of player customisation options to unlock (gloves, skins, name tags)

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

We're currently planning on offering the Early Access version at a lower price, because it won't have all the features available yet.

Because Bare Butt Boxing is primarily an online mutliplayer game it needs a healthy community around it to grow, so community engagement will be crucial. We want to involve the community in the following ways:
- We'll be doing an influencer marketing campaign ahead of the EA launch
- We'll be hosting various friendly competitions during EA
- We'll be active on the Steam community forums to seek feedback and inform the community of upcoming updates and balance changes
- We'll do dev streams and frequently play together with the community
- We'll also be launching a line of physical products to further engage with the community
