What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Alan Sharp is a game planned in several chapters and as the description implies it is an open-world game. Polishing the full open-world content including dividing properly each chapter based on the storyline, we believe that early access is the only way to make sure we provide an unforgettable experience to our audience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“According to our roadmap and milestones reached, to complete and polish the entire game including All chapters (which will be added as DLC) we require at least seven months until fulfillment”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will include Multiple endings tightly connected to a unique system we are developing called The Suspect System. The Suspect System will appear in particular moments throughout the entire gameplay (all chapters, starting from chapter 1) where the player will be able to choose which NPC of all the NPCs he met so far is the suspect. The game-ending will depend on the choices the player has made throughout the entire game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core mechanics are implemented however, the open-world part and the suspect system have not yet been finished.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game price will change only when a new chapter is added. However, changing the game from Early Access to a full game won't affect the pricing.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Even throughout the Demo we already had, we worked closely with our community via our social media channels to establish the best experience for our audience. Doing a careful analysis on the comments by players and analyzing youtubers/streamers feedback we will modify existing systems and mechanics.”

About This Game

Chapter 0: Prologue

Dive into a dark world by taking the role of Sam Whithers - a young detective and ex-assistant of the legendary Alan Sharp. Unfold events that happened before Alan's arrival at the crime scene and find out the horrible truth. On the way, besides the investigation which brought him to Beggers Hole, Sam will face the demons of his past. Will his own sanity stop him from realizing the terrible truth? Or will the unholy entity consume him in the abyss before he finds out the tale of the Regan family?

Get into the shoes of Alan Sharp, a private detective in the 1970s, retired and shattered due to the murder of a beloved one. A single call by an old friend takes Alan back on his track, leading you to a small town where a boy was butchered. The parents are missing, strange rumors spread among the folk talking of madness that consumed the father. Furthermore, others foretell of peculiar events and occurrences in the Regans’ home. Inspired by various psychological horror games and detective fiction, Alan Sharp takes the best elements of the horror games genre. Using uncertainty and fear of the unknown, above all, it provides a chilling atmosphere for the players to experience. As you investigate the mysterious murder, death lurks behind every corner. It lingers for a right moment to consume you in the dark and bury the truth of what happened to the Regan family.
