“プレイ中に会話が挿入され、ゲームとドラマを同時に味わえる、ドラマティック横スクロールSTG。道中で弾をばら撒くザコや巨大レーザーを撃つボスなど敵は「真っ当」でいかにもSTGの王道だが、プレイすると各ステージとも「最初はだいたい死ぬ」。そして繰り返しのプレイで新しい武器が装備されて攻略できる「成長するSTG」。前作『ギンガフォース』を引き継いでいるが、ドラマの見せ方や難易度など更に洗練されている。”
