What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Human Factory is a huge game and I am but one man. We believe Human Factory has the potential to be a truly great game, but we need players and feedback.

Early Access is very well suited to this 'factory' genre, where fine tuning and up to date feedback is paramount. This game is as big as the player makes it and playtime could run into triple or quadruple digits, therefore many players are required to properly test it.

Warning: This is proper Indie Early Access. Expect bugs.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“In the best case scenario Human Factory will be in Early Access for a very long time, maybe years, because that means we're improving the game. I would like to see far improved graphics and UI as well as online features. This really depends on how much interest we get.”

- Arena: Pit Humans against each other in mortal combat for the crowd's pleasure. Place bets using in-game currency.
- Online Market: Play online. Sell rare Human DNA to other players for extortionate prices. Bet against each other in the Arena. React to the adjusting market.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“There will be bugs.

See the Roadmap for details on which features are currently implemented into the game. This will be updated throughout Early Access as features are added.

No promises, but if you make a save file now there's no reason it should ever become obsolete.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“There are currently no plans at this time to change the price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I would like as much feedback as possible. I want to see your bases, I want to know what quality of life features you want, I want to hear your crazy ideas for mutations.

Use the forums here on Steam or join our Discord: ! :)”

About This Game

You are a great tentacled cosmic deity, drifting through the endless void. Space can be very boring at times. But every now and then you find something that can hold your attention. This time, you found Earth.

Build your Human Factory.

Build a habitat, populate it with Humans and then butcher them into many parts for profit. Keep them fed and happy and they will work for you to craft items and power your machines. Automate everything with Pipes, Conveyors and Wall Flippers.

Breed or clone Humans and separate them by Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence and Charisma. Complete quests for other great cosmic space deities and unlock new technologies. Expand your factory line to get the most out of each and every Human.

Butcher Humans and sell their Souls.

Process and export the Human parts for profit. Make clothes from their Hair and Skin, make drugs from their Hearts and Livers, make sausages from their flesh and Intestines, put their brains in a jar and sell their dreams for eternity, bottle and sell pure joy and pure horror, breed and sell high quality Humans whole.
