What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“The goal of the final build will be to have multiple routes, weapons and moves, with the routes taking roughly about the same amount of time and all weapons should be about as powerful as each other so that it comes down to player's personal preference. The game's weapons, bosses, difficulty and time limits will be tweaked and balanced, and the initial batch of weapons in the early access version of the game will be used to gauge how powerful the newer weapons and moves will be based on player feedback. The current build does have play testing; and I've tweaked the difficulty with some of the feedback I've received; however, early access will create more feedback to base the tweaking on.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“A few months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The final build is planned to have an additional level, which may be a Metroidvania style level or sequential (depending on feedback). At least two additional bosses and a new regular enemy type. This is all planned and may change depending on how the early access game is received.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game has an introductory level, a tutorial, 5 stages complete with bosses. One alternate route, two endings, multiple controller configurations, multiple keyboard configurations, a saving and loading system, achievements, local coop, Synthwave and hip hop soundtrack, 90s style art.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The current plan is to gradually raise the price as content gets added.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I'll read comments, review streams, let's play videos etc. in order to adjust the weapons and difficulty. I will also post questions/surveys through the game's community/social media and I also plan on making a few video updates, of which I'll address some of the issues and read comments and feedback as well.”
