"《SUFFERING》is our first indie game, and we hope to do our best to make it better. Steam EA has helped us a lot, allowing us to hear from real players about the game in advance, and these suggestions are very important for us to keep tweaking and optimizing the game in the proper way, and it also will give us a chance to learn quickly and improve efficiently. "《SUFFERING》is an indie game that can continues to expand its content, offering more reincarnation, more enemies, more weapons, more abilities, more items, more special commands, and more difficulty modes. EA will last a long time. (Thanks to everyone who has supported SUFFERING through KS and Steam. Based on the current progress and remaining production, we expect to finish the early Access stage by the end of this year at the earliest)"

Como a versão completa será diferente da versão de acesso antecipado?

"For EA, players will be able to challenge all the bosses in the first reincarnation, including defeating the final BOSS for the first time to finish the game, so the players can fully understand the core story set of《SUFFERING》.
For the release vision, it's important to add all contents of the second reincarnation, which will double the length of time to play the game, and we will also make the bosses behave better, the fights more playable. We have a lot of ideas to join in, such as design a more distinctive roles of BOSS, more interesting types of weapons, more distinctive ability moves, the more wonderful items and add more specific instructions to develop leading role of combat routines, and so on. Of course, we want the release version to have a smoother experience, better art, better music and even more cutscenes. It's also about making appropriate optimizations based on suggestions from the community, maybe the best idea is from one of the player's suggestion."

Qual é o estado atual da versão de acesso antecipado?

"The current EA version already includes the full story mode of first reincarnation, which has three story chapters, nine bosses, and four specters to to be explored and collect. Even if you are very good at turn-based games, it may take more than 20 hours to complete the story mode of first reincarnation (explore by yourself).We're still working on more content, and we hope the final version will give players a more unique turn-based suffering experience."

O preço do jogo será alterado após o fim do acesso antecipado?

"After EA is over, the addition of more new content and new mode will definitely lead to higher production costs, and we may have to adjust the price slightly."

Multi-mode play

  • Each reincarnation of SUFFERING will offer multiple playable modes, including the currently open Story mode, Death Mode, and Challenge Mode, as well as the upcoming Nightmare mode and Custom Mode.

Multiple reincarnation setting

  • SUFFERING breaks the "New Game+" and adds the "Multiple reincarnations" to the traditional turn-based mechanism. The biggest characteristics is that the next reincarnation doesn't have to face the same enemies, but a brand new group of stronger bosses altogether! That means you will encounter new powerful bosses in new reincarnations!

A unique 2D souls-lite turn-based suffering experience! Being-towards-death!

  • Only by defeating the seven sinners imprisoned in the Room of Suffering can we uncover the truth sealed in the depths of the shadows.

Turn-based combat system based on Enemy Attack First - EFTB mechanism!

  • The order of action command is "enemy takes action first" by default. The only way to get ahead of the enemy is to use the preemptive action command.

Free to match your primary/secondary Weapon + Ability + Item commands!

  • Building a clear idea and match the best possible combination of weapons, abilities, and items for each battle against the powerful BOSS.

Kill each Sinner to gain the BOSS's most powerful Sinsoul!

  • While you kill the Sinners, you will gain the power of the Sinners, and you can use those terrible Sinsouls.

Break and deal the Overkill damage! Enter the Killing Time to reverse the situation!

  • Handle the rhythm to attack and break the enemy’s defence at right time. After the damage met Overkill damage will trigger the most critical mode of Killing Time.

We hope continue to make and release more reincarnations after the PC official version.

  • These additional reincarnations will be free. As we still don't know if the core gameplay and expansion mechanics of the game suffering will be accepted by the public, we are not sure which reincarnation will be the final one. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to tell us.
