«We want to make sure we create the best possible game for fans of turn-based tactical RPGs. Early Access allows us to be close to our current and future players who will be able to join our journey of completing our first game. Having our foundation solid and validated by our BEAST community before we launch the full game is our highest priority.»

Hvor lenge antas det at dette spillet vil være i tidlig tilgang?

«Sorry, but we are not developing this game any further at the moment. We did it for the first three months, then ran out of funds. We are looking for a publisher to invest in the game so we can finish it. Finishing BEAST is our priority.»

Hvordan er det planlagt at fullversjonen skal være forskjellig fra versjonen i tidlig tilgang?

«As this is truly an Alpha version of the game (which means actual early code) there is a lot of stuff planned to be implemented, fixed, updated, balanced and optimized before full release. You will hear temporary music, voice overs and sound effects. You will see strange animations & graphics and you’ll likely be able to exploit combat systems at times. The full game will include side missions, additional story missions, more customization, enemies and much more. If you’re looking to be able to get in early and help finish a dark tactical game you’d want to play, this is it!»

Hva er nåværende tilstand for versjonen i tidlig tilgang?

«The EA version is currently in Alpha (early) state and contains a big chunk of the game with over 30 playable missions, 2 main characters, 10 enemy classes, 20 enemy types and 55 weapon types. Starting from the November Major Update, the game is now supporting (still in development) languages such as French, Italian, German, Spanish, Polish, Japanese and traditional Chinese.

«Yes, during Early Access, the game will have a lower price point compared to the final game. We're also looking to potentially develop a “Loyal Edition” for current Early Access players. This would include the game, digital artbook, wallpapers, unique weapon, equipment skins and soundtrack (content will be able to be downloaded as they become available and subject to change) as a thank you to our early paying adopters.»

Unleash your inner demon in BEAST, a brutal, turn-based tactical RPG that’s currently available in Early Access. Serving as False Prophet’s debut title, BEAST aims to redefine the turn-based tactics genre by telling a gritty, grounded story with morally ambiguous characters. With gridless, turn-based tactics gameplay at the forefront, players are able to strategize to take down their foes on the battlefield in the most visceral ways possible. But you don’t need to venture forth alone. You’ll have access to the warband consisting of loyal comrades, each with different skills and abilities. Will you work alongside them or consume them to enhance your Beast abilities? This is an Early Access game and False Prophet is listening to its playerbase to ensure BEAST is the best game it can be.

Deep, Rich Narrative

Long presumed dead, a veteran returns from a 10-year-long Ottoman slavery. His Carpathian homeland is feebly reigned by the demented prophet-king, its lands ruined by raiders and cursed with a hellish plague. Everything he loved and cherished is either gone or has changed beyond recognition. All he has left is his soldiers’ loyalty – and a holy quest to end the plague. Facing hordes of enemies as well as his inner demons, you must help him see it through no matter the cost!
