Amidst the shifting sands on the banks of the Nile, a young civilisation calls for a leader to guide it to glory. Dynasty of the Sands takes an innovative simulation-based approach to the genre, with players contending with seasons, a day/night cycle, weather, wildlife, and disease – right down to the individual desires, hopes and dreams of each villager. These systems and the environment challenge the player as they develop a city to sustain a growing population while balancing the favour of the Gods.

Dynasty of the Sands includes:

• In-depth city-building tools allowing the player to express themselves and their vision of a fantastical Ancient Egypt. Build stairs into the sides of hills, bridges over water, mighty statues on walls and more.
  
• A villager event system presents creative city-building objectives in a fresh format. Individual villagers make unique requests, which require city-building solutions.
  
• Deep simulation means an ever-changing world of day/night, weather, wildlife, disease and many more systems to create a dynamic and engaging game experience. These systems challenge the player as they develop a city to sustain a growing population.
  
• By leaning into fantasy elements the gods become real as they were to ancient people. Meet or refuse their constant demands, or perhaps become a god in your own right. Every choice will have lasting consequences.

Build up from nothing, explore and exploit the land, the river and wildlife to forge the start of your civilisation. Battle the seasons, hunger, thirst, disease, dangerous wildlife and more to overcome the dangers of ancient life. Create resource chains to provide the essentials for your people. Learn to manage in the harsh desert conditions. Deal with pressure to appease the gods or suffer the potential consequences.





Utilise satisfying building tools to raise your settlement from humble mud huts to a magnificent city in the desert. Access extensive creative options for building the city how you see fit (buildings, decorations, plants, waterways, platforms, roads, staircases). Create laws and mandates which let the city run itself, allowing your focus to fall on the most important aspects of your Empire.





Explore the map to discover points of interest, resource deposits, and various flora and
fauna. Use uncovered knowledge to research technology allowing you to create new and upgraded buildings to expand your settlement.





Dynasty of the Sands is designed to continue playing indefinitely. Completing one of the final objectives puts a capstone on the main narrative of the experience, however completing this does not restrict the player from continuing to expand and challenging their infrastructural set up to provide for the increasing population. The infinite game gives the player the opportunity to strive for their own ideals and create a true paradise from the once barren desert.
