What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Be warned, the early access version is NOT COMPLETE and has a lot of flaws. This game is a solo-dev game and, because of that, I'm still struggling to release the full product. But in the meantime I'd love to get feedback and direction from my users to know what is right and what is wrong. So I've prepared a version with some of the main features, but pending additional levels, interface, sound, features and polishing.
Also as part of the Early launch this will generate some revenue stream that I'll be using to enrich the game, some aspects like sound, translations, and voice acting will require further investment that I plan to do with your kind purchases.

The initial version is totally playable and should offer a good but limited experience, but I also want to enjoy with you the opportunity to improve the game with your feedback.

Be warned, the early access version is NOT COMPLETE and has a lot of flaws, please keep in mind that this game is in development and there are a lot of parts missing and the present parts may present bugs and wip status.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I calculate that the game will need at least some months to a year to get the full levels and full feature set like cooperative multiplayer and extra challenges, also all the art & sound polish I want it to have.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“My objectives to get into a full version with given time:
- lots of polishing
- improve ship profiles.
- Add coop local multiplayer, I hope to have at least 2 players in local coop.
- Add more levels and ambiences. along with new enemies.
- Create new game modes & challenges.
- Introduce some additional artwork improvements.
- Controller setup menus.
- Additional Score modes.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“This kind of games normally feel very short, keep in mind that due to the limited amount of features included in the first version of the early access, there may be this feeling of short experience. The levels offer replayability by improving score and the feeling of the score achievement is not yet implemented. But you can experience the feeling of the level.

Currently the game features:
- 3 ships with only one control profile.
- in level upgrades, power ups, and collectables.
- 3 full handcrafted levels. along with at least 7 enemy types each.
- Local score ranking & level punctuation.
- Basic menu navigation & experience.

The game is MISSING several key features:
- Proper music & sound.
- Pixel Fonts (current fonts can appear distorted).
- UX / UI improvements. (like end level screen, ingame texts, etc).
- Progression.
- Unlocking progress.
- Extra ship animations.
- Extra weapon level up & laser improvements.
- Extra levels.
- Extra effects like enemy blinking, or better explosions and FX.
- Better looking screens.
- Controller & input setup screens.
- Story cutscenes before each level.
- Dificulty modes.
- Cooperative local multiplayer.
- Steam scoreboards.
- Steam achievements.
- Steam cards.
- Optimizations.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, The game in early access will have a very accessible price tier, It will change to the final price once all intended features are in the game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“My objective in order to improve the game is to have a fluent communication with the community, Ideally I'll get feedback about balancing items in current levels, learn about needs from users and also implement some suggestions. I know there will be some complaints about the current status, so I'll prioritize based on users opinion and having them involved in the key features they consider best for the game.”
