Why Early Access?

“We are a tiny team of 3 people working from home full time.
Early access allows a more flexible development time and production cost based on public feedback and financial support that would allow us to adapt our project size over time, therefore allows a smoother production pipeline.
Early access also allows a direct feedback from our players, as we are extremely indie and have no QA team beside ourselves, players who report bugs and suggestions are probably the best way to polish, develop, and help debug our game.
Early access also help us grow a community with which the project can communicate and socialize.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan on a little more than one year.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The release version of the game will feature the full story with all the secrets and lore, as well as some shops and events early access won't have.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game have all its main structures strongly in place. Now it's all about filling in content and polishing. I would say the game is around 25% done.
We barely started creating free roaming activities, we only have one job playable (package delivery), one cosmetic shop and one Coffee shop, the basic mechanics of the Skate for Streets Pro games which is a series of challenges and sport games against other skaters, one upgrade, a couple of events, and no side stories yet.
As for the plot event, we only have the tutorial in place. We're at the beginning of a story tree that will grow more and more complex and interesting over time. We're focusing on free roaming activities first so players of early access have a fun re-playable thing to do that helps getting used to the game mechanics. But bare in mind that the RPG aspect of the game is a big part of the project.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will be more expensive after release. We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Any player can provide feedback via our social medias such as Discord, Facebook, etc...
We will also provide a link to online questionnaires to help us develop features or concepts that need testing.
And finally, we will later create some in-game tools for the players to directly give feedback from within the game.”
