Proč předběžný přístup?

„We developed Eggness from scratch and developed Episode 1 in 4 months with a fresh team. The team was assembled specifically to work on Eggness. We currently have 1 game designer, 2 developers, and 3 2D artists.
CADs Engineering GmbH wish to go the early access route to get feedback from gamers, and use the Eggness Character to make a game that gamers would want to see Eggness star in. We plan on releasing at least 24 episodes for this game. Each episode will have its own theme and boss battle. Each episode will contain:

- 1 platform level
- 1 story level
- 1 boss battle

We will create future episodes based on the feedback we get.“

„The game will be in early access for at least 1 year after it has been released on Steam. We wish to get as much feedback as possible before working on future episodes, to create future episodes based on what our audience wants.“

„The Early Access version basically contains just one episode. We plan on releasing 23 more, but we wish to hear what our audience wants. The Game Design document for 3 episodes has already been created, but we wish to hear what gamers have to say about episode 1 first and where they wish to see Eggness go next.“

„This version has partial controller support and contains:

- 1 platform level
- 1 story mission
- 1 boss battle

It also has a tutorial level.

The game currently has two weapons:

- Pistol
- Hand Cannon (Which is a special weapon) earned by beating the platform level.“

„Eggness is a character that we can use to create games. Eggness is in a world where kitchen appliances are actually living beings. We wish to involve the community and get an idea of where they want to see Eggness.
The possibilities are endless! We are highly inspired by Bugs Bunny and he got featured in almost every possible theme and scenario imaginable. We wish to see Eggness do exactly that, but the overall setting of future episodes will be decided by our community.
